“I am really your aunt.” Deanna said, “I know I look a lot alike your momma. She was my twin sister. Like you two are alike.”

“Not momma?” one of the boys asked as he peeked out of the hiding spot. He was confused but he seemed to understand what she was saying.

“Not really.” She said as she looked at him. “Drew?”

“That what they call me.” The boy said as he scooted out from the table. He reached out his hand and went to touch her face. Deanna smiled at him. She could hear the things Max was talking about in the boys words he spoke. It was almost a lisp but it was more than that. Deanna started making a list of all the things the boys would need. That was when the other boy scooted out as well. The size difference between them would make it slightly easier t

As the two walked outside into the fresh air Max smiled at her and knew that she was trying to come up with a plan in her mind. She just shook her head and then had a look of complete confusion on her face. The adjustment between the two looks had him now confused. He waited for her to tell him what was going on in her mind though before he said anything.“Max as much as I want them and I do. I don’t know if I can really handle them.” Deanna said. She looked up to him and he smiled down at her. They were nearing the van and she waited for him to hand her one of the twins and then climb in himself with the other. He placed them in their holders for the car seats and got out to put the stroller in the back. Though she had tried to do that he just looked at her and then she lifted one of the twins, Riley and the lifted her shirt as the baby started to cry. Max go

They went back to the house that Max grew up in to get the kids. As Max was moving the kids into the van so they could get up into their seats and Deanna would fasten them in the twins who were asleep were taken out and placed in the grass so his parents could at least see them for a bit. Max was watching very closely as his mother kept up closer and closer to the babies when his father would pull her back.“I don’t understand why I can’t hold my grandsons.” She muttered.“Because they are early.” Max said. “They are fine but I want to keep them healthy mom.”“Sure like it is your decision.” She sputtered. Max’s father looked at him with pleading eyes not to get her started. He nodded back. “Everyone in?” Max looked at the back of the van and everyone was in their seats and had began

Deanna was finally relaxing in the car on the way to the house. Max’s phone was going off call after call. He finally pulled over on the road and looked at it and sighed and shook his head. He looked at her and she knew something happened. He looked at it again as it started ringing, “Anderson.”As he sat there his eyes got wide and he paled. So far nothing about anything had made him look like that. He sent a side glance her way and she knew it wasn’t good. He didn’t say anything but he cleared his throat three times and then hung up the phone.“Max?” she asked as she saw he didn’t want to look at her.“Deanna we will talk about it when we get home.” He said as he started driving.“Maximillian whatever it is you have to tell me now.&rdquo

Max looked her over and knew she was thinking clearly. The shock of everything wasn’t all that bad except they had been there just moments before. She didn’t need to know the real details that he had been told about what the boys had done to the nurse in the fifteen minutes they were left alone. The idea that they were still so young but they could work as a pack like that they needed to be put away. All of them. For good. That type of evil and the damage they had inflicted and had inflicted on them would never go away. They were nothing but animals now. Max hoped Deanna never knew the true damage they had inflicted to the poor nurse. He would have to remind everyone who spoke to her to keep it simple. She didn’t need that added to her plate of things her family did but she turned onto herself.Max picked up his phone and called his cousin. He placed it on spe

Deanna shrugged and for the moment they would keep it.Life was changing. She wanted to have a new beginning at their new house. She really didn’t want the things that had plagued her coming to find her in the new place. The lawyer had been a blessing and had kept the whole sale of the new house under wraps and he was the only one who knew the address. She was finally thinkin

Over the next few days everything seemed to move in slow motion for the couple. Though everything seemed fine and nothing was ever really happening except more boxes showed up and more and more of their belongs were in them. However, no calls came in about the case against David and or any other new thing that was found about the Watson’s.Now the weekend was upon them and they were waiting on the group of Akechi’s that would be coming over to spend the day. Mitsuhide was watching Max closely. “So how bad was it?”“What?” Max asked surprised he looked at his friend.“”When she woke up. I know you said she glossed over it but.” Mitsuhide said. • Breaking the Eye Wall   Epilogue

It had been one year since Max and Deanna Anderson found out about the death of David Watson which marked the ending of the saga of the Watson’s and the drama of the insanity that the family had caused. It was almost fitting that they were back at the Watson family house opening it to the public on the anniversary of his death. All of the kids were around them as they gave the first tour of the house. A place they both still hated with a burning passion.Deanna had learned to talk well in front of people as she had started to talk about her family and the things that had gone on in the house. She was getting better for herself as she talked about it more and more. Though Max was still a professor for the police academies he had slowed down his work schedule to help her out more around the house. The six children they had took nearly all of her time as she helped guide the

When the light of the day had faded Max and Deanna along with The Akechi’s stood on the porch waving off the group of men that had helped make the move and the unpacking go smooth. Mitsuhide and Max had disappeared for a bit of time and when they came back it seemed that Max could see straight again. Kit had pried the information out of Deanna as to why they both seemed like they were in a fog.“You know in the end it really is the best outcome. I understand that might be hard to hear but honestly it really is.” Kit said. “I had such a hard time accepting it when Randy used the bomb at the courthouse. I don’t think that many people should have been hurt or died because of the actions of a few but now I understand why he did it. He was ending the pain they caused but instead he caused more of his own.”“I get tha

Deanna sat back and waited for Max to say something or do something but instead he was lost in his own thoughts. He seemed to be taking this harder than she was. The thought of that being her at some point had become one of his greatest fears though she knew that wouldn’t have happened. He looked over to her and took her hand in his. “Deanna I don’t know what to say.”“Then don’t say anything.” She said to him, “Words don’t really matter right now. The next day began as a complete blur of activity for both Max and Deanna. The start of it was the company that she had hired to open the letters wanted them to come and pick up the money. It was reaching into hundreds of thousands of dollars at that point and they didn’t want it at the building any longer. Deanna called and would have an armored truck come transport it to the bank sometime today. That was an easy fix for everyone involved. They made it to the lawyers and Deanna went in to get the keys for the house. She was in there for a little longer than she had hoped as they needed to go over a few more things about the case against David. He had gone radio silent while he was in the hospital. They were afraid he was trying to figure out how to break out though the police were not going to let that happen. He was the mos

This is the best gift you could give to four people. Loni wanted you to know that she expects not wants you to be a part of the boys lives. You are their aunt and now cousin by marriage.”“Not another relation.” Deanna said. “I am just their aunt slash sister.”“Deanna everyone understands why you let go of them. The next day they were getting the boxes ready for the first wave of things to be moved to the new house. Everything was set and they would be meeting in the morning with the lawyers who would have already bought the houses that were side by side. Deanna had thought about giving it to Mitsuhide and Kit well before she actually said it to Max. He knew that Mitsuhide would have his own issues with it but in the end he would accept it and they would have new neighbors. The thought of having a friend that close by was a god send to both men for the what if situations they knew they could run into with having so many little ones around. It would be good to have them close for that but also they would have each others back. Max still worried about David’s fans running about and that one of them could try to get to Deanna. Having Mitsuhide next door with his talents with a gun would be mind easing for h
