Chapter Fifty Two

‘I know where she is’

Mylene came back into the office, her face pale and her eyes red but she was calm,

‘Well not the address but if she’s in England she will be in her birthplace, Lissa has gone home to Manchester Luca’

Luca looked at the other girl,

‘Thank you, Mylene’

His voice was soft and full of gratitude,

‘Don’t thank me, Luca, go and find her and bring her home because trust me, it's you she loves no one else, you are her world and I would bet the life of my unborn child that she is suffering because she’s not with you’

Mylene was right, Lissa was finding it a struggle just to get through each day, she barely ate, only remembering when the baby kicked in protest forcing her to find sustenance. She ate because she had to not because she wanted to as the food tasted of nothing, she tried to be healthy by eating only fruit and salad because it required no preparation.
