Chapter Fifty Seven

The baby was his mirror image, same soft blonde curls and piercing blue eyes, his nose and chin so like Luca’s there could be no denying who his Father was.

‘He was going to break hearts when he was older just like his Daddy’

She thought kissing his downy head and placing him in the myth and magic crib covering him with a soft white blanket trimmed in blue.

‘Two of you to cope with’

She smiled up at Luca and then walked out of the nursery, she discovered she wasn’t very maternal, she loved her son but was pleased Luca had hired a Nanny to care for him. She still tired easily and needed to rest and the woman they hired had bonded with him so well it meant she could rest without a guilty conscience.
