Chapter 8:

   **Brandon POV**

Brad had sent word that he spoke to his sister's wolf, she said something about an old house. We had searched all of them and now we were about an hour away from our pack lands. All hell broke loose when we got close enough, dark witches were throwing bags and running away, but there was a figure I knew all too well. "There is Bethany! Grab her!" I yelled. Alex was closer to her than the rest of us and I watched as he darted through the trees and tackled her to the ground. Bethany let out the loudest scream I had ever heard to the point it actually hurt my ears. "Get off of me!" Bethany screamed. "Shut up! Where is Leia?" Tye shouted in her face. "Fuck you!" Bethany roared, ramming her head into Tyes face. Alex ran over just as Bethany got to her feet, he grabbed her around her hips and slammed her back to the ground. "Where is she?!" Alex growled in her face. "Doesn't matter, you'll all die anyway." Bethany snarled, thrashing her body around. I ran in the house but it was all empty. What was that girl's name? Lilly? Leia? Yeah Leia. I was terrible with names. I knew she had blonde hair and was petite. "Leia!" I yelled searching all through the house. I didn't find anything in the front room but I kept looking.

This house was incredibly old, the flooring seemed as if it would cave in at any moment. I opened every door, looked inch by inch but didn't find anything. I walked back outside to see Alex and Tye had Bethany up on her feet. "We will tell Alley that you helped us if you tell us where Leia is." Tye said. "I'm not telling you shit. You think I care about Alley or her little friend? I'm dead either way it goes." Bethany snapped. She was right, we had seen what she did to Stella, wolves could be cruel but damn. That was stupidly insane. "Just tell us where she is? Where is Bosch?" Alex said, tightening his grip on her. Bethany didn't reply. Instead she kept her head forward and that was when I noticed her eyes. "What is wrong with you?" I asked standing in front of her. "You'll never find her." Bethany laughed. I pulled back my hand and slapped her across the face making her look at me. "She is the daughter of a beta. You will suffer unless you tell us where she is." I snapped. "I would rather suffer, although I will be happy knowing you'll all die." Bethany growled.

We started pulling her back to the lands when she refused to walk, forcing Tye and Alex to drag her. Bethany would randomly scream loudly and thrash her body around, I wasn't sure what she was trying to do but I was really annoyed with it. If everyone was scattering from that house that means we caught them by surprise and that girl was there until Bosch took off with her. Dammit. Now I have to deliver that news to her family. As we got closer Bethany started to really scream her head off. She tried everything she could to get out of their grips. We stopped just outside of the shield,  "Didn't take long for y'all to find her." Stephen said smiling at us, "Fuck all of you! Let me go!" Bethany shouted, flailing her body around trying to get free. Tye grabbed the back of her head and shoved her face into the shield. Bethany let out a blood curdling scream. Tye pulled her back and the look on her face could have killed us all. "Shut up Bethany, you lost the right to say anything the moment you tried to kill Alley." Stephen seethed. "I don't regret anything, well maybe only the fact that I didn't kill her." Bethany snapped. "Well aren't you just a lovely person." Josh said glaring at Bethany. "We will take her to the cells, her walk in here will start the torture I intend to inflict." Alley said, locking her eyes on Bethany's "Just kill me, we all know you are going to. I won't tell you anything!" Bethany shouted. "Oh no sweetheart, you don't deserve a quick death, everything you did to Stella will be done to you and more." Alley snarled at her. I watched the color drain from her face and I smiled a little "Let's open this section of the shield so that they can get through." Alley said, reaching her hand out to grab Stephens hand.

Alley closed her eyes and concentrated on opening a small portion of the shield, just enough for the four of us to get in. Alley opened her eyes. "Come through now." I said. Alex and Tye  dragged Bethany through kicking and screaming while I followed closely behind them. "I want a list of everything Stella remembers happening to her and I want it in my hands when I walk through the front door." Alley said. I knew Atsila and Stella were spending much needed time together and we all respected their wishes. I couldn't imagine what he went through feeling her pain, knowing she was hurt and he couldn't help her. My heart breaks for him but at least they are both safe. "I will get it ready for you." Anahita said before she disappeared with the rest. I heard Bethany grunting in front of me, "What's that matter Bethany? Can't handle a little pain?" Alley asked sarcastically. "What's happening to me?!" Bethany shrieked. "You are feeling what happens when you get through the shield having ill intentions and mixed with dark magic. Enjoy that while you can because when I get that list you'll wish that this pain was all you were feeling." Alley spat at her.

This was the first time any of us was seeing what would happen if someone mixed with ill dark magic got inside of the shield and I must say, it did not look like a lot of fun at all. Bethany was hunched over struggling to breath. I knew she wasn't faking it, I could see the pain flash across her face a few times before anger filled her.

"You can't do this! I'll kill you when I get free, I swear!" Bethany screamed. Alley whipped around and marched towards her. "What are you doing?! Stay away from me!" The closer she got to Bethany the more her body thrashed. Alley pulled her arm back and punch her square in the face. Her body went limp "That's better, her yelling and screaming was getting on my nerves." Alley said, turning back around. "I'll agree with that, you should have heard her when we caught her." Alex said. "She's got a set of lungs on her." I muttered. "Where did y'all find her?" Stephen asked. "She was running from abandoned house an hour from here, the house is empty we checked." Tye said "I wonder what she was doing there then, we need to have the place watched to see if anyone else goes there." Alley said. I didn't think anyone else would go back there but it was a good idea that we keep the place under surveillance just in case. I pulled Stephen to the side, "I am going to go talk to Brad and give them an update." I said quietly. Stephen nodded his head and I turned on my heels and ran as fast as I could until I was standing in front of the young betas house. Before I could even knock the door flung open and Brad was standing in the doorway.

He stepped outside and I took a deep breath. "We found a house, we found Bethany running out and a few dark witches but nothing else. I'm sorry man." I said looking at him. "What about her scent? Clothes? Anything?" Brad asked. "No, there was nothing there but I would say that it was where they were staying by how they all scattered. We will keep searching thought but I just wanted to let you know." I replied. He looked depressed, I could understand though. It was his sister. "Thank you for looking. Maybe Bethany will fess up to something." Brad huffed. "I doubt it. She won't tell us anything but we do know for a fact she has seen her by what she has said." I replied. "At least we know she is still alive. I haven't heard back from her wolf yet." Brad said. "Keep trying. Let me know if anything changes. I need to get back." I replied, patting his shoulder. "Thank you again." Brad said before he walked back into the house. This was the first time something like this had happened and we all promised to keep looking for her and we never broke our promises.
