Chapter 7:

Leia POV:

    I could hear people stomping around in the house like they were trying to get away from something or someone. Shouting started and I could hear chanting. What was going on? Bosch had me locked in a dark closet so I couldn't see anything that was happening. The wind outside was howling which was weird because we were in the woods somewhere so it shouldn't be that bad. I perked my ears the best I could and I could hear what sounded like water? What was that smell? "Fuck! Bethany you need to get the hell out of here now!" Bosch roared. The door flung open to reveal a very angry looking man. "Let's go." Bosch snarled, grabbing on to my hair. I could feel his fingers dig into the back of my scalp and I couldn't even scream out in pain. "Where am I supposed to go? I can't take those carriers on!" Bethany screeched.  Carriers? The element carriers! "It's not the carrier's idiot, I suggest you run as fast as you can, I will find you soon." Bosch snapped before I felt the air hit me in full force. It felt like I was on a wild roller coaster ride and when my feet touched the ground I had no idea where we were. 

    If it wasn't the carriers then who was it? I don't think it could have been wolves, I knew that Stella and Atsila went missing but I couldn't hear the full conversation of what was happening. Maybe they went back and told Alley were we were and they came looking for me. Fuck! They were so close.. so freaking close! I can't lose hope. He told me to hang on a little longer and that is what I planned to do. Being stuck in my own head was starting to drive me crazy, Una was sleeping a lot to save her energy and all I had was memories to think of, no one to talk to or anything and I felt like I was starting to lose my mind. 

    Bosch was stomping around muttering under his breath. "You will kill Alley, you will not have a choice." Bosch snarled, grabbing my jaw aggressively. "What an asshole." I hissed. "I heard that you little bitch." Bosch snapped before I felt the sting of his back hand when it connected with my face. "Can't even fight me while I am in control of my own body. You are weak." I spat, earning another slap. Even though I could feel the sting it wasn't as bad as it would normally be. "This little stunt the wolves pulled will earn them retaliation and before you get your hopes up of them catching  your scent don't bother. I've been masking all of you for a long time." Bosch replied with a smirk. Part of me believed him while the other part held onto that hope. Maybe just maybe they would find something. "They wouldn't even realize who you are anyways." Bosch replied pulling me towards a little lake? Or maybe it was a pong. He raised his hand pulling the water with him and I could see my own reflection. 

    I was dirty, my hair was knotted and all over the place, I was overly pale and very thin. I didn't even recognize myself. It was as if I was a walking zombie or something. My body was weak.. How long has it been since I ate or drank anything? I couldn't survive without it. "Luckily I have another hidden house, come." Bosch said, dragging me behind him. I could feel the ground under my feet. My mind drifted back to my reflection, how was I ever going to recover from this? Would I even recover at all? I sank to my knees and I could feel the tears swell up in my eyes. I am going to die, I could feel it. I knew I would. I was too thin, too weak and even Una couldn't hold on much longer. I crawled back over to Una and reached my hand inside of her cage, "I'm so sorry.." I sobbed. I was a horrible host that put my own wants and needs in front of what was right and now she is paying the price for it. "I think I will keep you alive for a long time." Bosch said. "Get the fuck out of my head asshat." I snapped. "No, I like watching you suffer in there. Don't worry, I won't let you die." Bosch laughed making me feel worse, he was going to use me to try to kill Alley and if I succeeded he would keep me around. 

    I would never forgive myself if I even hurt her, I needed to figure out something to get stronger, maybe there was a weak spot in here. I stood to my feet and started to move around. I couldn't let him do this to me, I couldn't hurt nor could I kill Alley.
