Chapter 34

Sasha's POV

Today was Dragon Corporation’s annual board meeting and I was supposed to attend it on my first day at work.

I didn’t want to look too exotic, so I grabbed a simple white shirt, a brown skirt, and a simple shoe and put them on.

I always wanted to be that humble boss who didn’t tramble on their subordinates and so I decided to look like one. It’s that kind of Steve Jobs feel I wanted to have on me.

Also, I wouldn’t move along with any guards today so I could be super humble and down to earth.

Well, let’s see how that pans out today.

I stepped out of my room, walked down the stairs, attended to the greetings that were directed toward me, and walked forward without a dent of doubt that indeed today would be a fabulous day.

I drove to the company early in the morning. As soon as I stopped and was ready to enter the building, the security guard stopped me.

"I'm sorry, Sasha. There's an order. You can't go in!"
