Sasha’s POV

I couldn’t help but feel a surge of envy and anger toward Sandra. She didn’t just take my father's company, she also stole the man I loved.

I wanted Valentino back, but he didn’t love me. His bond with Sandra seemed untouchable.

That night, I found myself thinking about everything. The more I thought, the more my heart ached until I finally cried myself to sleep.

The next morning, when I got up, a maid came in to help me downstairs.

I paused for a moment and asked, "Is Valentino here?"

"Sir has gone to work," the maid replied.

"Oh." I nodded, realizing he was purposely avoiding me.

The next few days followed the same pattern. I barely saw Valentino. When I woke up, he was already at work, and by the time he came home, I was already asleep.

It seemed like it had become a routine—he’d leave early and return late. Even though we lived in the same house, we hardly crossed paths.

Despite this, everything else was taken care of. The maid was strong enough to carry me up and down
