MONTANA'S POV

I startled myself and turned to Aunt Calista. Well, that was unexpected and expected at the same time.

"Let us go," She said as we both left the place. We were finally free and that Lady Scar was dead.

All the while as I took my Aunt Calista back to my hotel. Getting a cab and all that, I kept thinking back to Aria and her betrayal.

Why would she even do a thing like that? I thought we were in this together?

I was so hurt by it all. Months together, months of trust and friendship, and still, she had the heart to betray me and even try to use her magic badly on me.

Some people are just not it.

I sighed.

Aunt Calista patted my thighs, "Sometimes we have to be careful of the people we trust and call friends. I am not saying it is bad to trust, but just be careful."

I rested back on the cab sit and nodded, agreeing with Aunt Calista.

Thank God I had paid for extra months, unless my bags would have been thrown out, I guess.
