The pack house was unbelievably quiet and the only thing that I could hear were the screams of Ananyah who kept shouting at the top of her lungs about how she should be set free and about how her father and brother wouldn't spare them and those involved in her abduction.

I gritted my teeth in anger while seething with rage. However, as I made my way inside the house, I found out that I came across the presence of no one. As I had mentioned earlier, a deafening silence enveloped the whole place, and the only sound that I could hear was that of Ananyah screaming for help.

With every step that I took, I knew that something felt odd but Liana and her safety had occupied my mind and I didn't attach any meaning to the eerie silence.

The way Ananyah shrieked triggered all of the senses in my head and the only thing I wanted to do was just to shut her up.

I needed to give her back to Bruce Lawrence.

All of that was just a ploy to get back Liana and make sure that I end Bruce Lawren
