Arthur rushed into the office with an expression that depicted worry creased on his face. “Alpha Conan, there is no retaliation of any sort anywhere, and apart from there not being any retaliation, Liana is currently missing from her pack’s house because from what I heard, her father is searching for her for days now,” Arthur said while I leaned in the chair.

“She isn’t missing, she just went far away from everyone and everything” I sighed deeply and that was when the realization hit me that I didn’t pay attention to what Arthur had said before he mentioned Liana.

I jumped to my feet instantly. “What did you just say? That there isn’t any retaliation of any sort? No retaliation! Like everything is calm and they are not tearing and clawing at each other?” I yelled, my eyes widening in utter disbelief as I unbuttoned my shirt and slipped a finger through my hair.
