You drive me insane

last update Last Updated: 2024-06-09 22:51:08

After a day spent running around trying to satisfy all of Blyce’s whims, Estella was more than exhausted. All her muscles hurt and she just wanted to soak in a hot tub and go to bed. Unfortunately, she didn’t have a tub in her room.

She walked into her room, too wrung out to even bother taking a bath. Tiredly, she kicked off her shoes, pulled out her hair tie to let her hair free from its ponytail, and began to slip off her dress. She was in only her underwear when she reached for the light bulb and switched it on.

The scream that tore off her mouth at the sight of the figure lounging against the opposite wall could be heard from a mile away.

Diego hurried towards her and covered her mouth with his hand, giving her a warning look.

She pushed his hand off at once, “What do you think you’re doing here?”

“It’s my house, I can be wherever I like.”

“You’re not welcome here,” she insisted, but her words were useless as Diego’s attention had moved to her body covered by basic matching green underwear.

“Estella, you drive me insane,” he said, stepping so close that his hot breath fanned over her face.

She shivered at his proximity, breathing in till her lungs filled with his intoxicating smell.

“What are you doing to me?” She asked in a trembling voice.

He tugged her into him and she went willingly, unable to resist the draw of him. His mouth dropped to the junction between her neck and shoulders and he dropped an open-mouthed kiss there, making her throw her head back in pleasure.

She felt her nipples harden as his hands trailed down and settled on her hip just above the line of her panties.

“You taste so good,” he murmured into her skin and then his mouth was on hers, hard, hot, and demanding. She opened her mouth for him immediately, tongue twining with his.

His hand moved up from her hip and unclasped the hook of her bra, then he tugged the hands down and flung the material away as it had offended him. She moaned as one of his hands covered her breast.

Her nipples were hard and aching for his touch and she ripped her mouth from his to let out a cry of pleasure as one thumb brushed over the sensitive nub of her nipple.

Her hands clawed out, fisting into the front of his shirt and pulling him even impossibly closer to her. She couldn’t get enough of him. She wanted-

Her thoughts came to a screeching halt as a loud knock sounded on her door.

“Estella!” Edwin called.

Estella pulled away from Diego with a horrified cry.

“Oh My goodness, what have I done?” She whispered.

“Don’t worry about her,” Diego tried to pull her into another kiss, but she twisted away from his arms.

“Shh,” she whispered at him, “if she thinks I’m sleeping, she’ll leave.”

“I know you’re not sleeping,” Blyce’s annoyed voice came again, at this point it felt like she could just overhear them, ‘cause damn the coincidence of making that statement after what Estella said. “I can see your light is on.”

Estella’s eyes were wide and full of panic. How unlucky could she be that Blyce would walk in on them twice in the space of just a day? If that wasn’t a sign that she had better stay far away from Diego, she didn’t know what it was.

“You have to hide,” she hissed at him.

He raised a brow at her, “just ignore her.”

“I can’t!” She said angrily, “This is all your fault. You should never have come here in the first place.”

“Open the door,” Blyce snapped, “or I’m calling the housekeeper to open it. I know she has the spare keys to all the rooms.”

Estella waited till Blyce’s steps faded away before she rushed to the window and measured the distance from her window to the ground.

“I’m not going out of the window like a freaking criminal in my own house,” Diego said coldly.

Estella’s eyes were full of furious fire as she looked at him, “Keep it down, sir! And what do you suggest we do? In a minute, she’s going to walk in here and find you!”

“What’s the worst that could happen?” He asked angrily, “You’re afraid of the wrong person.”

Estella swore quietly and cursed Diego in her mind a million times for putting her in this predicament. She also blamed herself for so easily falling for his seductive charms and getting lost in the feel of him.

She was still standing in the middle of her room, confused, when she heard Blyce’s steps return.

“Get under the bed! Now!” She barked quietly at Diego.

He looked over at the small space with contempt but finally slid under. Grabbing her clothes, Estella raced into the bathroom and hurriedly turned on the shower, getting herself adequately wet.

By the time Blyce had unlocked her bedroom door and walked in, Estella was stepping out of the bathroom, towel around her and dripping water.

“Miss? What are you doing in here?” She asked innocently.

Blyce gave her a searching look, “I’ve been knocking!”

“I’m so sorry, ma’am, I was in the bathroom.”

“Ugh, didn’t I ask you to not call me ma’am,” she sneered, “Anyway, have you seen my boyfriend?”

Estella blinked at her, trying to convey confusion, “Have I seen Mr. El Diablo?”

Blyce rolled her eyes, “Don’t answer, you’re obviously clueless.”

As she turned to walk away, there was a thump from under the bed that Estella wished she hadn’t heard, but by the way, Blyce spun around, a suspicious look on her face, it was very obvious she had heard the sound.

“What was that?” She asked.

“What was what?” Estella asked innocently, heart pounding.

“There was a sound and it came from under the bed,” Blyce said, approaching the bed.

“You must have imagined it,” Estella said desperately.

“Shut up! How dare you call me crazy?” Blyce glared at her and marched towards the bed, reaching for the bed covers that fell over the bottom of the bed.

Sweat beaded on Estella’s forehead and made her armpits damp as fear choked her.

“There’s nothing there, miss,” she said in a weak voice.

Blyce argued with her, flinging the bed covers away and then she began to stoop to peek under the bed. At that moment, something small zipped past her feet. Blyce shrieked in horror and disgust and leaped away from the bed like it was disease-ridden.

“Gross! Was that a rat? You swine.” She shuddered, then turned to Estella, “How do you live like this? Bloody!”

She hurried away from the room like one more second there could get her infected.

Estella’s heart, which had risen somewhere to her throat, finally dropped down to her chest. That had been close. Way too close.

Two times in a row was not a coincidence. She knew she wouldn’t be so lucky the third time.

“No, sir.” “Yes, sir.” For the past few years that Estrella had worked for Mr. El Diablo, those were the only two sentences she had ever used while speaking to him. Their relationship had been strictly professional. She immediately abandoned the inventory she was taking and rushed to him. “Sir, are you okay?” She asked in a concerned voice, “Let me help you to your room.” “Bad idea, chica,” he slurred. She didn’t understand what he meant by that or by the glint shining in his eyes. She summed it up to him being drunk and immediately went to him, wrapping one arm around his waist. “Put your weight on me,” Estella said, “I’ll help move you upstairs sir.” He muttered something under his breath that she couldn’t hear but finally let her help him.
