“How’d what go?” I returned dropping down on the unoccupied seat beside her, placed my bag on the table and crossed my legs at the ankles.

“Nothing?” Hanna repeated

“Yeah” I shrugged.

She regards me a look of suspicion. “What did you do?”

It was a bit late when I got home last night as it had rained most of the afternoon so Hannah and I stayed back in the library to study until the rain let up, I immediately jumped in my car and drove home before it started pouring again. Hannah impacting last minute fountain of knowledge saying, give him some ass babe, and before you know it he’s all yours.

Determined to ignore her, I cleaned up, slipped into a warm sweater dress and came down for dinner.

It was nice, we talked about school and how I was preparing for my upcoming exams, I asked about his day and work. Told him about my call with Damien. And he mentioned how those two tend to be attached at the hip.
