62. Clarissa

I was at the live concert with Jalen and Cade, and everything was going great until Jaela suddenly fainted. Seeing Jaela on the floor filled me with shock. I couldn't believe what was happening, and I felt paralyzed with fear. Suddenly, Jalen was beside her, lifting her into his arms.

People were starting to gather around us and I could hear the whispers and murmurs from the crowd. Jalen and Cade rushed to lift her off the floor and the whole crowd was looking at us. I was so scared that we were drawing attention to ourselves and I was grateful that I was wearing a veil to conceal my face. People around us were giving me curious looks, and I felt my heart racing with anxiety.

Jalen glared at Alex with eyes filled with anger and suspicion, and I could sense the tension between them. I tugged nervously at my veil, feeling a knot form in my stomach. I was so scared that someone would recognize me or that the werewolves would find me. I glanced around nervously, feeling like I was being w
