In the end, Ethan made a simple English breakfast. Lena had some difficulty adapting to the taste, but she still forced herself to eat some.

She was still wearing the shirt that Ethan had given her the previous night, as the clothes from the night before had not been washed due to the previous mishap. So no matter how she looked at it, she was going to take the day off.

Ethan looked at her struggling and said, "Don't enter the kitchen in the future. You can't make anything good anyway."

That was an understatement. The food she made was practically a tragedy. She'd managed to burn both the egg and bread in her first attempt, and in the second attempt, she'd simply boiled plain noodles. On the third attempt, she had scalded herself. There wasn't a single time she had done the job well.

Lena thought it was today's episode that had made Ethan unhappy. She whined, "I didn't do it on purpose."

"That's not the point. It's because your cooking is bad and a waste of ingredients!"
