Ethan's tone made Lena’s heart sink, and she quickly asked,

"I just need to confirm something. You don't have salt and vinegar in the kitchen, right?"

Ethan's face darkened.

Lia sat on Ethan’s right, while the company’s finance manager, David, sat on his left. Both could hear Lena’s voice.

Moreover, what they heard seemed to be about salt and vinegar.

Here they were, discussing a billion-dollar project with Ethan, and Lena was asking about condiments.

Lia and David exchanged stunned, apprehensive glances. They even broke out in a cold sweat for Lena, thinking that Ethan was about to explode in anger.

However, the anticipated outrage did not occur. Instead, they heard him calmly say, "Get both. Can you carry them?"

Lia was confused. David was shocked as well.

The mighty Ethan was concerned if a junior assistant could carry groceries!
