Catherine's POV:
My eyes burst open and my whole body froze instantly like I had just been poured an entire bucket of ice cold water. That dream.
The dream I had from last night kept playing at the back of my mind, displaying every scene continuously as I try to recall the faces involved in those scenes, and I can't seem to brush off these insufferable feelings that were persisting deep inside me. Feelings full of pain, grief, and bitterness from those final moments I had with my father.
From those images that kept replaying inside my mind persistently, I tried zooming in the faces of both my mother and father. At first, it was all blurry, but when I tried focusing into them more, the more it cleared up, and I snapped.
I remember.
I gasped in horror. Oh Goddess, I remember everything! My name is Catherine Grey, the only daughter of the former Alpha Daniel Grey and Luna Julia Grey of the Silver Moon Pack, and my rank was definitely not that of
Alpha Damien's POV:"Boss, we're here." My Beta Drake informed me the obvious. I waited 'til he went out to open the door and I stepped out of my Bugatti La Voiture Noire to take a look at the place.Five days ago, I rejected their request to visit their pack in order to do some business that their Alpha expected would elevate their pack to a higher rank, close to where mine is officially standing right now. He wanted to surpass other packs by playing friendly with me, which immediately made me lose all interest. If it weren't for my Beta who was constantly whining and complaining about not being able to find his mate anywhere, I wouldn't have come to the Silver Moon Pack. Drake wanted to go explore hoping he would eventually find his mate here.I told him to ju
Catherine's POV:I was clenching my fists, my wolf had been wanting to throw killer punches at the face of the man who had just tormented and abused me both physically and emotionally. His rejection had hurt less, and in the morning when I woke up with my memories flooding back in my head. It was only yesterday that he rejected me, but now the moon goddess really took me back with an unexpected surprise. A second chance mate, and quite a strong, terrifying, more dominant one at that. The moment he stepped into that room, I sensed an incredible power emanating from him. His presence alone made my hair stand up in shock, my heartbeat quicken all too suddenly and without warning.Sighing, I felt my body slightly relax as his beta led me to a fancy looking car parked near the entrance to our packhouse. As soon as my feet had landed on the earth just out
Catherine's POV:I felt like I was in a dream, or maybe Alpha Damien stopped at the wrong place. But how could he be wrong? He's the alpha, isn't he? I gasped at the magnificent sight before me. It was just so breathtakingly beautiful.Surrounded by a land abundant with trees, flowers, and dirt which remarkably captivated the beauty of nature, lies a great mansion larger than anything I have ever seen. The windows were huge, huge enough to welcome every ray of sunlight sourced from the burning son billions of miles from earth. As if the mansion itself was humble and shy in character, the curtains were opened only slightly for the outside world, but they barely revealed anything more than chandeliers and ceilings to its wondering specators below on earth. Its walls were made of rocks that stood strong, tall a
Alpha Damien's POV: My eyes widened at the unexpected crowd, and I furrowed my eyebrows as I stare at the pack. I glanced at Drake who gulped upon meeting my eye and glared, studying his thoughts. I opened my mindlink and connected with my beta. 'What is supposed to be the meaning of this? Why did you bring this crowd over?' I demanded while narrowing my eyes at him then the crowd. Each of my pack members stood there looking stunned, still and unmoving. 'It wasn't me, Damien, I swear! I only mindlinked auntie about the good news and the next thing I knew, the whole pack gathered here. Believe me, I'm just as surprised as the both of you.' I don't know how else to respond other than to frown. Of course. My m
Catherine's POV:My face still burned in embarrassment and humiliation as I faced an entire different pack. Closing my eyes, I tried to tell myself over and over again not to show any weakness in front of them, especially my new mate.'It's okay, Catherine. Our mate is here. He will protect us, and I'm sure of it." Raya said that to cheer me up and bring me out of my depressed state.'Maybe you're right this time, Raya. I think so, too.' I admitted. It's true that I felt Alpha Damien's scent more fragrant and comforting, far from what it seemed like with Easton. I had sensed a genuineness that eminated only from Alpha Damien. Despite his terrifying aura and appearance, I could tell he's not really an evil person, or anything of the sort.I smiled inwardly, thinking of Alpha Damien's godlike face and his hard, toned body that--Stop. Stop Catherine. Seriously, why the need to include his body? I
Catherine's POV: All at once, I heard the door swing open with a loud bang. My head jolted to face the direction where I heard the sound and saw, him. I though I had skipped a beat just when I saw his eyes turn full black, meaning his alpha wolf might just take over his body any moment now. I gulped and felt as though he had burned my skin with his overly intense gaze. I stood up straight immediately as I saw him glaring at my hand, which beta Drake was coincidentally holding at the time. Drake had abruptly let me go as though he had been zapped from electric shock. The reason why he was holdin mg my hands was because he had just helped me get the handcuffs off of my wrists. But it just had to be the same time when Alpha Damien decided to suddenly barge straight into the room.
Catherine's POV: "But only in one condition," There is a mysterious look on his face that I can't quite solve. The smell of his breath lingered, teasing my nose as he moved his face closer to mine. I held my breath, trying not to break a sweat while heat enveloped me whole. However, it did not seem to affect Alpha Damien in the slightest. "What... condition?" I managed to utter the words in between breaths, staying completely still while his fingers played the skin on my face, as he placed a finger on my lips and slid it down to my chin. Sparks came in all places he touched, making me feel almost breathless from this growing excitement caused by our contact in addition to the closeness of our bodies. My heartbeat sped up as he began to open his mouth, which distracted m
Easton's POV: Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud. I punched the wall so hard again and again and again until I let myself grow tired. I turned around and pushed my back against the wall as I felt my body fall slowly to the ground, my hands shaking for the need to hit someone in the face but couldn't. Ever since I was alpha toned by that crazy bastard to kneel for him, no werewolf came talking to me, not even one omega came up to offer her ass for me to fuck, and that frustrated me too much that I was beginning to experience weakness. My whole body unable to move any more from my being hurt. No matter what I do to distract the intense pain I was feeling right now, the unshakable feeling of my heart shattering into pieces keeps on coming back, and it pisses me off. Dex himself was feeling weak and helpless from that bitch's little tr

NARRATOR Catherine woke up feeling Damien's arm laying freely on her waist. She did not want to wake him up with her moving around so she stayed. Damien's face was now clean and smelled like fresh shower. But the damage of the wolfsbane had extremely damaged his sight forever, making it impossible for him to ever see again. This made Catherine's heart crumble. However she thought that if this was the price they had to pay to be together again, she would make it all worth it. She would help Damien get back on his feet. She would feed him until Damien leanrs how to feed himself. She will bathe together with him every day so that he knows he is never alone and that Catherine is there to guide him all the way. She would make him see all of her through the other senses he had not lost. Let his fingers trace every inch of her so he will remember the lines and curves of her body that craved so long for his touch. His embrace. The feel of his skin brushing against hers. The heavenly
CATHERINE's POV I woke up from a dream. A nightmare where I was stranded in darkness. Far away from my home. Far away from my loved ones. I found myself hugging my knees in the dark, unable to see or hear anyone on earth where I came from. I was crying. Crying so hard and loud yet no one seemed to have heard me sob and scream and grunt and cry. The place I found myself thrown into after feeling my last breath disappear into the wind, was starting to cave in on me and I was horrified. Is this the end? I waited for what felt like forever in this dark hole of abyss. All of a sudden, I caught two bundles of light that were coming forward towards me from the corner of my eye.
DAMIEN'S POVThat was the last bit of strength I had within me which I sacrificed to save my only son. I don't care how weak my body gets, or even how much I bleed from the corners of my eyes, or how I can't seem to see anything but darkness all around me. What matters most was that they're safe. I felt my head being settled ln something really soft and warm.Hercules purs and we closed our eyes to rest. But seconds after I heard gunshot. My ears rang as it was too close to where I was. Catherine's scent. I sniffed the air. My eyes grew wide when I smelled her scent blended with that of gunpowder. Was she shot?!At that moment I forced my body to rise. Get up and help my mate. But I couldn't. I can't see a damn thing after Sam gave th
CATHERINE'S POVI let Samantha's lifeless head drop down to the cold tiled floor, motionless. Furious for what she had done to my mate and our family, I let my fangs sink into her head, only deeper and more sharp. Her body that was just standing straight up not too long ago was now lying on the floor with a missing head. Soon her unmoving body was surrounded with a pool of her own vile blood. Her hand was stretched out, releasing the syringe she had used to inject Damien's eyes which was rolling on the floor, empty. I squinted my eyes and the enhanced senses had allowed me to know exactly what it was. Wolfsbane. I growled, and my blood boiled in hatred and disgust.Damien's continuous groans and cries abruptly pulled me out of my raging state and made my wolves whimper at the sounds he was making. We then immediately rushed forward to his aid. Because his hands, neck and entire body were chained against the wall, he could not rub his eyes and can only scream out the agonizing pain. I p
CATHERINE'S POVMy wolves were seething in anger. I felt my claws and fangs descend as I watched Samantha step forward and closer to my mate."Wake up." She order Damien like some animal pet that she felt belong to her. Only, he isn't. Damien is my mate and never will be hers.Gritting my teeth, I turn to Demiana, reaching out to her and Drake through mindlink.'Why is she here? This will sabotage our plan!' I had told them.'We'll find another way, Cath.' was Demiana's reply.'We need to think of some way, to get him away from Samantha' Drake said, his eyes still fixed on Damien and Samantha on the other side.
CATHERINE'S POVWe were in a closed room. Something like a storage room that we stumbled upon when we took a flight of stairs hidden on the floor. At first it was covered by the carpet but Drake spotted the markings and revealed a way."Are you sure this is going to work?" I ask Demiana. She didn't look at me but swinged her chanel bag to her side, bringing out some more of the clothes she packed earlier from the pack house. She had proposed we disguise as Samantha's close friends. That way we can get close to where Damien was without being caught. Well, hopefully."It will Catherine. It has to." Was her only reply.Sighing, I wore the tight leather pants and red sexy silk top before I slipped on the long b
DAMIEN'S POVHercules used to tell me to cling to hope. What is hope? Everything I have had been ripped away from me completely. I was once unyielding, unbeatable, indestructible. I was mighty strong and not even all the other alphas joined together could bring me down or make me kneel at their feet. One thing I didn't see coming, that meeting an innocent looking human girl like Samantha has cost me so much. My mate. My only son. My pack. Now I'm left with nothing but myself. I don't have anything and anyone in my pitiful life anymore. Not even my own wolf. I lost him after three years in this fucking shithole. I tried reaching for him, calling to him, but he never came back. Two years ago...I was chained to a large metal chair. My hands and knees were forced down and locked so that I wouldn't be able to get up. Ffight back. Maybe do something other than blink and let out low growls that weren't helpful either wa
LILITH's POVCharlie suddenly closed his book right after his mom exited the room. He then brought out a photo hidden under the small couch and I lean over to look at it.My eyes widened the moment I saw who he was looking at in the picture."Do you know him, Lily?" I frowned as he called me with that name again. Apparently he liked the sound of it rather than my real name, Lilith. He preferred it short and simple to speak.I press my lips together and stare at the curious lad.Should I tell him? Oh no, what if Luna Catherine didn't want me to?"Have you asked your mom that?"Charlie shakes his head, dropping his gaze
