                 ~20 YEARS LATER~

The atmosphere that filled Noah's dimly lit black and white themed bedroom was a rather rapturous one, oozing with budding ecstasy and waxing pleasure. The ambience was brought alive by the soothing sounds of soft moans and lips passionately clinking together.

Katniss and her fiancé, Noah were lip locked in an intense kiss with their hands freely alternating and caressing different sides and places of the other's body. They utilized every single second they spent in the act to enhance the already fiery mood by trying their best to send feels down the other's spine.

He was seated in a sprawled position on the bed while Katniss sat on his laps with her legs curled around his torso. His actions continued to add more pleasure to the kiss as his hands had already found it's way to her bare back, frequently alternating from stroking her sides tenderly to caressing her lower back softly. The sensational chills that ran down her spine as his hands hovered around her back were one of a kind. A whole mood bursting with feels and fueling desire.

Her arms were criss-crossed around his neck, as she ran her fingers through his soft, brown colored hair. One of his hands slowly left her back and slithered all the way down to the hem of her shorts and then he began to tug on it in a bid to remove the clothing.

Katniss' hands swiftly arrived at the scene and halted him from going any further with the the action. She smiled and disengaged from the kiss then leaned in her head making the two lovebirds' heads to touch.

"What are you doing?" Katniss snickered.

Noah's hand surrendered and seized from tugging then proceeded to rest on her hips.

"I'm trying to do things to your body." Noah voiced out in a low, hush tone and paused his utter then went on to push his head against her ear, teasing her earlobes as the action went on further. "But your clothes are hindering me." He finished the statement as a whisper into her ear before he stuck out his tongue and manoeuvred it around around her earlobes while she giggled.

His other hand found it's way to her adjacent hip and the both proceeded to caress the area in a circular motion and in an up and down motion, touching parts of her lower stomach. Frequently, they went all the way back and endeared the part buttocks that wasn't pressed against his laps.

The feelings his actions produced wiped the smile off her face giving her a more suiting demeanor for a sexual action; her eyes were shut and she bit her lower lip as small, almost inaudible moans escaped from her mouth.

"Can we get married so we can do this all day?" Katniss spoke softly her earnest heart's desire. She wasn't saying it because the feels were getting to her brain or she was 'drunk in love.' No, she said what was her dream, her wish, what she had been longing for to happen.

"We'll talk about that later. For now, we have other business." Noah dismissed her and then grabbed her by the waist tightly, dragging her wholesome body to himself and then commenced another trial to take away the only piece of clothing she had on, those hindering shorts.

"No." She yelled firmly then pulled back from his grasp.

"I want us to talk about it now." She added more calmly. She reached for the bed spread folded next to the pillows then wrapped it around her upper body.

Noah rolled his eyes and groaned loudly leaning his head backwards as he did. Lately, Katniss has been much of a prude ass marriage wanting fiancé and it's all she ever wines about anytime they're about to get intimate. It sickens him.

She wasn't like this before. No she wasn't. They would do whatever they wanted to do, however they wanted it without Katniss feeling guilty or immoral about the whole thing. Recently, she's been the opposite of the fun, spontaneous and sexual loving girl she used to be. Whoever or whatever church that's poisoning her was really doing a good job getting to her.

Notwithstanding Noah's uninterested attitude, Katniss continued her utterances.

"I want you to come see my parents." She spoke sweetly with a hint of a smile appearing at the side of her lips.

"Let us get married. Have kids. Do everything the proper way." She added taking his hands and then clutching them lightly as he sighed disinterestedly.

"Nothing stops us from having kids and doing uh all the other things married couples do despite not being married. Don't you get what mean?" Noah in response spoke these words softly and sweety, dissuading the lady from her marriage thoughts. He wasn't ready for marriage yet. He loves her but marriage is a no, no on his agenda for now.

On the conclusive part of his statement, Katniss' deameanour cranked up as she furrowed her brows in puzzled bewilderment. Her grip on his hands became loose, but she still held them.

"No I do not get what you mean. What the hell do you mean by that statement?" Katniss questioned curtly with squirmed eyes and a straight face. One could sense the fury building up in her from the tone of her voice.

"No-nothing. Nothing my love. I didn't mean anything. You're my queen, my everything, my one and only. I'll be at your house for dinner say tonight? Tonight. And we'll talk marriage with your parents. Is that okay my heartthrob?" Noah nervously flattered his way out of Katniss' death trap and agreed to meet with her parents.

By death trap, he means Katniss' anger outbursts. It was not something to be around to witness. It was not a nice sight at all.

You see, on rare occasions, almost just like now, when things don't go according to Katniss' way, she flares up and let those loud harsh fly out of her mouth. Noah didn't want her anger to press on beyond that, definitely not after what happened the last time she had an outburst. It was a fiery mixture of loud, harsh, very harsh words, hurtful words, profane expletives and the worst of them all- the nags that seemed to go on and on and on, without seizing. It went on and on for long, painful minutes, until she poured her heart content's out and went to bed.

It doesn't happen frequently but when it's about to unfold, you'll know by the squirmed face and oddly straight face. When she's in this position, she's just like a bomb ready to explode at the slightest touch. If you can lower down her anger nerves and prevent a death trap, fine. But if you can't and she starts yapping, it's best you keep shut, or else...

"Yay!" She squealed, her demeanour quickly changing to a cheerful one and Noah shut his eyes and sighed in relief.

"Crisis averted." He mumbled to himself as Katniss got up from the bed with the bed spread still around her.

"Where are you going babe?" Noah questioned.

"Home. I need to prepare for arrival. Yay! I can't wait. The day I've been waiting for is finally here." Katniss said with a big grin and so much excitement exuding from her.

"So you're leaving?" Noah obliviously question and Katniss shot him a savage glare.

"Yes stupid, I have to leave." Katniss replied with an eye roll and bent to pick up her romper which was pulled off her by her fiancé during the heat of their romance and laid there nonchalantly, by the bed stand.

"Imma freshen up. Don't miss me too much." She added with a wink as she walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind her.

With a smirk on his face, Noah bounced on the bed and reached for one of the small framed pictures of Katniss that laid on one of the bed side tables. He picked it up and brought it close to his face, using his fingers to caress the picture as he reminisced on some of the sweet moments he has had with his fiancée.

The day that picture was taken, was the day he had taken her sky diving. As a rich, pampered kid, Katniss has been constantly denied 'adventure' growing up and up until now. He decided to take her sky diving and after she landed, she had this picture taking. She was still wearing her sky diving suit and helmet. She looked cute in the outfit.

Noah felt so lucky to have her. What did she see in him? A struggling artist, who's yearly earnings is nothing compared to the weekly allowance she gets from her parents. What attracted her to him? What was so special about him that made him land a rich chick like her? She was indeed a blessing to his life, he meant it when he called her his everything because that was exactly what she was to him. She was a keeper. And now that he thinks about it, marrying her is definitely not a bad idea.

It was almost 7pm, dinner time at the Costello mansion. The maids were setting up the dinner table, scampering here and there with trays, dishes and cutleries in their hands, trying to get everything done in haste before dinner time. Rumor has it that they had a guest, a supposed rich guest who happens to be Katniss' fiancé, at least that was what the maid thought.

Beautiful Katniss adorned in expensive jewelry and a black frilly long-lengthed Versace gown complimented with light makeup, stood at window and stared out, keenly awaiting Noah's arrival. She was eager, yet nervous and anxious. She didn't know how this night would go, but hopefully 'fingers crossed,' it goes well.

"You've been staring out that window for the past thirty minutes dear, you should relax. He will show up eventually." Katniss' mother, Lady Lucinda walked up to the window and spoke to her daughter in her British accented, haughty voice.

"I know mother. But it's almost seven pm and he's not here yet. I'm a bit worried though, very excited for this." Katniss replied her mother without turning away from the window. She could see her mother's reaction from the window though, the woman was chuckling. She could relate to how her daughter felt as she remembered how she felt uneasy when her fiancé, now husband first visited her parents.

"Don't worry yourself my child. I'm sure he'll be here in a bit. You know how we rich people sometimes like to dilly-dally. Surely he'll be here and I can't wait to see how flamboyant this young man is." Lady Lucinda said and Katniss arched he brows in confusion. ‘We Rich People?’ Flamboyant? Does her mother think- does she think Noah is like, rich? Oh, dear Lord.

Lucinda came closer to her daughter and patted her softly on the shoulder before Katniss could explain anything about the social and financial status of her fiancé to her mother, she had already turned to leave.

"Well, he'll be here anytime soon so she'd see things for herself." Katniss told herself before focusing her all to waiting for Noah.
