SODAIR The sunrise peeking from my window made me wake up from my beautiful sleep. I glanced around and realized Liana wasn’t in the room. We sleep together but in different beds. I gazed at the sunrise by the window as I listened to the bird’s tweeting around the palace. I sighed heavily. Life has been quite hard, remembering on that day that my dad knew that I was getting out of the palace without his consent. Since that day, wherever I go, I have a bodyguard right next to me and Liana the other. But that didn’t stop me from going to the place I wanted most. Because the escape plan was in my room, I just promised Liana that I’ll always get back. And whenever I’d get back I’d meet her pacing profusely around the room in fear that the Queen might come in and find out. The door opened and Liana walked in. She gazed at me mischievously as she walked towards me and sat next to me. “I hate that look on your face.” I said grumpily. “Do you know what day it is?” She asked me eagerly.
BESHADONNA. The cold breeze that was bringing goosebumps to my skin was what made me become conscious. I opened my eyes and gazed around me. I was in shock, and when I started to replay what exactly happened until I arrive here, my heart only swelled in anger. Claus had lied to me. He said that he’ll bring me to that wonderful world that I’ve been envisioning in my dreams, but being here only means that he lied to me. How could u be so stupid to believe him? I remember him walking me inside to a great colored house. I walked in and sat there on a cozy chair as he made me a drink. Enthusiastically I drank it , feeling alive that I could possibly get rid of all the responsibilities that I left then back home. But after sometime, I started feeling dizzy unable to remember what exactly I was talking about. My eyes had started to be droopy and the last thing I know I blacked out. And here I was in a room , with just my inner garments and cuffs around my hands and legs. The room wa
SODAIR I thought hard about what Liana said to me. It wasn’t a week that I’ve been gone, right? I mean it couldn’t be. I sighed as I started feeling bad on how I addressed Liana just a while ago. I’ve never had such attitude but I guess it was the result of being caged in a city full of deceit and lies. I headed to the bathroom to get a shower and relax my tense body. I was home now. But deep inside, I felt that something was wrong but I couldn’t figure it out. It’s annoying to try to think of something and being unable to realize it. To hell with it. I got out of the bathroom and headed to my room. Today there were no maids around. I figured they might have been informed of my absence. I sighed as I dressed myself. I left my room and walked towards the King’s throne room. I was definitely sure he’d be there and being there would only ease his tension if he was worried about me. I was standing by the door when I heard him and his royal advisers talking about an ambush attack. “M
PROLOGUEThe chaos was just starting to worsen. The SODAIR kingdom, led by the Human King, King Gaber was getting endless challenges from the Viper King, King Morton from BESHADONNA kingdom. These two kings have been fighting a battle that their forefathers fought. Trying to survive, no one dared to negotiate since it only meant surrender. The viper kingdom is known to take humans captive to their territory. They are so cunning and clever, with the use of their belladonna flowers, they tend to take humans astray, promising Utopia but then giving them endless pain and suffering from slavery. The human king after all this, decided to build a fence to keep his people safe from the dangers of the vipers. These vipers, held in human bodies, had green eyes and all had one motive; enslave humans. It was strictly prohibited to get close to one, because it would only bring demise to the human kingdom. He had to protect his people if the Viper king didn’t settle with negotiations.
SODAIR. I walked around gazing at the palace grounds. The flowers around had bloomed beautifully and the air around the palace was sweet and lively. But that was not what I enjoyed. The more I stared around the more it felt lonely. This is one of the perks of being a princess. I ran towards the other side where I was likely to meet my mom. She had her own office where she’d sit and write all day. I never questioned her and most of my time all she did was tell me to head to Wisteria my nanny. “Mother?” I said as I headed towards her office. I knocked. When I heard nothing I decided to get inside. The room was full of shelves with books and there at the middle of the room was her one and only chair with scribbles on top of her table. I knew she wasn’t here so I decided to walk out. As I closed the door I accidentally pushed a vase that was by the side. I gazed at it broken into pieces on the floor. I heard hurried footsteps coming my way. The door opened and in walked Wisteria. S

SODAIR. “What are you talking about Zeeklah? Where did hear that from?” Queen Marquis gazed at me intensely as she waited for me to say something. “I just heard the maids talking about it. Just that. So I was curious.” I said silently as I poked my food slowly my appetite abated. King Gaber kept his gaze on me as he kept on eating to his food. “Whatever is at the other side of the fence is dangerous. All you need to know is that.” He said as he stood up and walked away. I gazed at my mom with pleading eyes. She gave me a tight smile as she followed King Gaber. The next day I decided to sit still and not do anything that would only make my dad much more suspicious. I decided that I should just try to embrace this loneliness if being at home all on my own with all this big huge windows and tall walls. Wisteria came to my room to take me to the dinning table for breakfast. I sat there hoping to meet both of my parents. Wisteria gazed at me woefully. “Your dad has matters of
