Chapter 28 Meeting Mom

As Rose and Alma arrived at the house, she was met with a soft smile from King Niklaus. I, felt an inexplicable connection to the stranger and insisted on speaking with her in private. As we walked into my office, we could hear Ravens singing from the hall, her beautiful voice filled the inn. Rose smiled, listening with tears in her eyes.

"Well, I'm guessing you already know who I am." I began as we all sat down. Rose nodded her head barely able to speak, hearing her daughter's beautiful voice had her throat in a knot.

"Hi, I'm Alma, and this is my sister Rose, we have been searching for her babies since they were stolen years ago," Before she could continue, I already knew who they were, from what I had been told by the gods.

"I have already been told their history, by the gods," I cleared my throat, wanting to hear everything she had to say before Introducing them to Raven and Lucas. Rose glanced at Alma, "You can talk with the gods?" her eyes wide with wonder and hope.
