Chapter 27 Meeting Mom and The final Rescue

Lucas held his sister tight as additional cars appeared and she saw Niklaus helping them out. She ran to him wrapping her arms around him tight with tears streaming down her face, "What is this, love?" I said.

"I was worried." she kissed me hard. I savored her lips.

"I have battled with this demon before, His days are numbered trust me." she was shaking as I held on to her, "It's gonna be ok love, I will never leave you, I promise!" looking into her eyes, "I've been so emotional the last couple of days I'm sorry." she cried.

"Never be sorry for loving me, my beautiful mate!"

"It's ok!" I held her as long as she needed me to.

"I need a drink," she said as I watched her go into the kitchen for wine.

"She is a beauty, Niklaus," Kira said to me, "and she so emotional because she's pregnant with your child."

My heart almost stopped as I turned to her, smiling. "Are you serious?" My heart raced at the thought of my baby growing inside Raven.

"I am." She smiled.
