Chapter 33 Kies Mate

Kie slumped in his chair, his shoulders sagging under the weight of his emotions. My gaze filled with empathy, and I reached out to place a reassuring hand on Kie's shoulder.

"Sam, go get Luke for me, please!" I asked, my brow furrowed with concern.

I began, "Remember the conversation that we had when we first found out about Raven being a Siren." I asked him.

Luke walked in, in the middle of my conversation with Kie. "I kinda figured that was what you'd called me in for," he said with a gentle smile, beaming with pride, "I see my daughter's Siren abilities are very strong," he said, his chest swelling with fatherly pride.
