Dinner Invitation
It was early morning when I was awoken to knocking on the door. I realized Shane wasn't beside me and slid out of bed to go and see what was happening. Shane was speaking with guard and he looked like he was ready to kill someone. He slammed the door and huffed before turning and jumping when he saw me standing there.
"What's happening?" I asked me with worried filled voice.
"Nothing go back to bed love." He said moving toward me dropping a piece of paper on the counter.
I shook my head walking forward and grabbing the paper before Shane could get it away from me.
"What's this?" I ask as I open it to read it.
"Another rogue was caught at our border with it." Shane said looking worried.
I opened it and read the simple message.
"I formally request the King and Queen attend a dinner being held in their honor." Signed Rogue King.

After driving for hours my eyes were puffy and red. My throat was so dry and sore from crying and yet all I could do was hold my stomach protectively and silently sob. It was after we had passed a horrific battle at our northern border and entered the rogue nation when the driver finally slowed down and drove normally. My eyes shot open causing me pain from the brightness of the room. I squinted and blinked trying to center myself. My hands shot to my very pregnant belly and rubbed while I sighed in relief."It was just a dream." I mumbled."What was that dear?"
