30. The Fall!

Author's POV

Mira loosened her body as she was falling and Damon was tensed not knowing how deep it was. His arm was strongly wrapped around her as her hair and loose end of her saree engulfed his body.

He held the breath when he fell into the water and saw Mira who had closed her eyes and was smiling softly like she was loving this experience.

He pulled her up on the surface of the water and frowned at her.

"Are you fucking crazy?... Aren't you scared of death?"

He scolded, looking around. They fell into the plunge pool which the waterfall had created. The place was surrounded by trees and was really out of the world, looking like a fairy place.

She pushed back her wet hair and smirked at him mischievously.

"Jab maut ant hai nhi toh maut se bhi kyu dare?" (When death is not the end then why be afraid of death?)

She chuckled.

"This is what you said a few seconds ago!"

He looked at her in disbelief.

"You are crazy!"
