97. Stuck!

Five months later ...

Anamika stared outside blankly as she felt the softness of the pillow beneath her head and warm morning sunlight on her face. The view was peaceful unlike her mental state.

"My love, the bath is ready"

She heard her husband coming closer to her.

Massimo smiled softly at her but she didn't. She hasn't smiled since she came back from the hospital.

He gently picked up and carried towards the washroom.

She closed her eyes as he helped her into the bathtub and warm water covered her body.

"The day is warm and beautiful!"

He sat on the stool and released her hair from the braid.

"Your hair has grown, should we trim it a bit?"

She just took a deep breath in response.

He gently washed her hair and body before helping her out of the water.

"Chang called, he is complaining that you don't pick his calls"

He said casually as he shuffled through her closet.

"Hmm, this one will suit you."

He smiled grabbing the yellow sundress.

"It goes with today's vibe..."
