14. Smacked!

Author's POV

"हुआ क्या?" (Is it done?)

Mira huffed from her seat.

The driver looked at her with an apologetic face.

"कोशीश कर रहा हू, मैडम" (Trying, ma'am...)

He has been trying to fix the car for the last hour but it wasn't working.

Mira tried to pass the time on her phone and huffed when her battery died.

"Great!"

She looked out of the window, they were stuck on the deserted road between the forest and it was already dark.

"मैडम, क्या आप गाड़ी चला सकती हैं?" (Ma'am, can you drive?)

He asked.

"हा, क्यू?" (Yes, why?)

She frowned at him.

"आप एक बार car start करके देखेंगे?" (Can you try to start the car now?)

He requested.

"Okay!"

She got out and sat on the driver's seat. She twisted the key but it didn't work.

The driver was already in panic, he wiped his sweaty forehead.

"आप थोड़ा शांत हो जाओ और आराम से try करो, tension लेने की जरूरत नहीं है।" (Calm down and be patient, no need to be stressed.)
