She laughed heartily as he grabbed her and gave her a hug,

‘I don’t tell you often enough how much I appreciate all you do for me.’

He kissed the top of her head and let her go so he could pick up his sandwich and take a huge bite chewing contentedly,

‘It’s nice to be useful.’

She grinned and bustled off to his room to make sure the maids had finished his bed and put his clothes away properly and when she closed the door he mind-linked his Beta,

‘Karl, bring the Warriors to my office in half an hour’

He commanded,

‘Yes Alpha, we’re on our way’

Alexis stood looking out of his office window at the snow capped mountain finishing his sandwich he felt restless and had a deep foreboding something was coming and it wasn’t going to be good.
