Chapter Nine

A bolt of energy slammed through Aurora and she cried out closing her eyes as the room grew brilliant white and the fizzing in her body intensified spreading rapidly through her.

The beautiful teenager began to shake and then she was lifted off the ground by a hidden force it spun her violently making her hair fly out around her until everything imploded and she dropped onto her bed like a lead weight her powers had finally been released,

‘You are so like her, Aurora, and now you must confront him, show him that you are her daughter, not his. She walks beside you, my dear child. It is time to embrace her. You must take her hand and become the woman she knows you are meant to be.’

The Witch touched the Princess's forehead and everything went black and when she opened her eyes again the Witch had gone, all that remained were a few rags on the floor. She turned and looked up at the sky gasping at the beauty of a huge blood-red moon just reaching its zenith in the night sky with the cloud
