Mr Arnold slowly walked to the sofa and sat down powerlessly. What has this damned woman done? She sacrificed her first daughter for her second daughter? H-How could I have married such a nefarious woman? How did I not see her wickedness before?

She wasn't like this before..I never knew her hatred for Rain had gotten to this extent. Mr Arnold said to himself in disbelief with a shocked expression like that of a zombie.

Meanwhile, in the hospital, Zain was in Rain's room. Waiting for her to wake up. He paced back and forth while he intently looked at her face. Indeed she was an irresistible beauty but all that meant nothing to Zain. He wanted children and settling for a woman like Rain was a non starter. Of course Zain wouldn't make such a mistake.

After what seemed like a long time, Rain's eyelashes batted a few times before she finally opened her eyes. Just like the first time, Zain was a little carried away by her eyes.

Rain smiled, "Zain, it's you, why are you standing so far, come close to me" Rain said in a sweet voice.

Zain nodded and walked up to Rain's bedside. He took a deep breath and prepared himself for what he was about to say.

Rain looked at Zain again "tell me, I lost the child again right?"

Zain slowly nodded, "yes, you lost the child. Rain, we both have been through a lot you know that right?" Zain paused a question while carefully observing Rain's expression.

Rain just nodded without saying a word. "Rain, I have already called off our marriage, I can't possibly marry a woman without a womb. Rain, you have no womb, the doctor said you only have a 20% chance of conceiving. I don't want to wait for five to six years just for me to have a child. I can't wait that long. To make matters worse, it's not even guaranteed that the 20% chance will definitely make you conceive, doctor said that 20% will only be guaranteed if you properly heal.

If you don't heal properly, that 20% may turn to zero. Rain, let's part ways, I can't continue with this, I am sorry"

Rain was completely stunned, she opened her mouth a few times to say something but couldn't. "I know it's hard for you but try and understand me as well" Zain said this then stood up and quietly walked away. Rain blankly stared at Zain's back that disappeared out of sight.

She began to pant as if she was running out of breath the whole room that was well ventilated felt like it was closing in on her. It felt like the whole world was against her. Rain didn't know what happened next, everything around her suddenly turned dark. After a few hours, Rain opened her eyes and looked around. Of course I am still in the hospital.

"Hey, I heard that this woman had three forced abortions, imagine the kind of person she must be? Her fiancee was such a good looking young man but it seemed she didn't want to destroy her figure hence she did that"

"Some women do not deserve to be called mother's at all, she doesn't qualify to be called a mother. She is so obsessed with her beauty thinking it will take her anyway. What's the point of being so beautiful if your heart is as evil and dark as no one could imagine? " the two nurses spoke without realising that Rain had woken up.

Rain took yet another blow, how? Are these women really talking about me? Rain subconsciously stood up and walked to the door, she just pushed the door and passed by the two people who were talking.

The nurses were shocked by this action and didn't know how to react. "Why didn't you close the door? What if she heard us?" One nurse whispered to the other as they watched Rain walk away. "Do you know where she is going now?", the other nurse shook her head "no idea".

Rain went to the reception desk and asked for the doctor who treated her. She slowly walked to the doctor's office as soon as she got all the information she needed.

Rain paused before knocking, she took a deep breath then knocked.

"Come in" the doctor inside said in a loud voice. Rain heard the response from inside, she calmed herself then pushed the door open and went in. The doctor slowly lifted his head from the pile of papers on his desk and looked at the person who walked in.

The first thing that caught his attention was Rain's eyes, her long off brown hair that carelessly fell backwards made her look breath taking. the beauty in front of him made the doctor tongue tied for a few seconds. He smiled and motioned for Rain to take a seat. "How are you young lady?"

The doctor greeted with a bright smile. Rain slightly smiled and nodded.

"Doctor, I won't waste so much of your time in here. I only came to ask about my condition, I lost my baby, I was brought in some hours ago"

The doctor was a little confused at first, then suddenly nodded his head

"Oh yes, i remember. You lost two pregnancies before right?"

Rain nodded and waited for the doctor to continue talking. "You know abortion is very dangerous, you could lose your life if you are not careful. Ma'am, you had two abortions before, you had another chance of being a mother but you still chose to abort this child. I am not judging you or anything but...

"Sorry but I am lost here, I have no idea what you are talking about,. I would never kill my own child, never. Not for anything in this world so why do you keep saying I aborted?" Rain asked with a confused expression.

The doctor got a little confused as well, he pulled the drawer on his right and removed a file "you are miss Rain Arnold am I right?"

Rain nodded "yes I am".

"Good, you lost two pregnancies before due to forced abortions including this pregnancy you just lost. All were caused by forced abortions caused by a certain drug that you might have taken".
