Rain was utterly shocked by what she heard. The doctor's words kept on echoing in her mind as tears subconsciously rolled down her face. Could it be that I committed so many hideous sins in my past life of which I am only paying for all those sins now? Rain questioned herself.

The doctor who seemed to have seen through all this cleared his throat before speaking "miss Arnold, are you telling me that you were not aware you lost your pregnancies through abortions?" Rain shook her head "no, I had no idea, I would never harm my own flesh and blood I can't! I really can't" she responded in a heavy voice while tears continuously rolled down her face.

"Well, you are telling me you had no idea but your mother was aware of this . She knew about all this so how can you say you don't know?"

Rain abruptly raised her head and looked directly at the doctor. She shook her head in denial a couple of times failing to believe. "No, no! Mum didn't know either. If she knew about this, she would have scolded me" Rain defended.

"Miss Arnold, your mother knew about this, as a doctor, I would never tell such lies. The other lady who would normally accompany your mother to the hospital also knows about it" .

The other lady? The other lady? Rain questioned herself as to who this other lady was and immediately she figured out who it was, she covered her mouth and dashed out of the doctor's office in tears. The doctor was a little shocked by her reaction and quickly ran after her.

"Oh miss Arnold, you need to take it easy on yourself. Remember that your recovery is top priority now" the doctor comforted Rain who was helplessly crying in the hall way.

"Mr Lee, is everything ok?" A tall young man in a blue suit paused and asked. The doctor looked at the person who directly called him by name.

"Oh, oh Mr Johnson, it's you? How are you?" The doctor greeted the young man in front of him with a slight bow. The young man's gaze shifted and he looked at the girl seated on the floor with her face covered. " What's wrong with her?" The young man asked again without responding to the doctor's greeting. The doctor whose name was Mr Lee looked at Rain and helplessly shook his head. "She is an unfortunate young lady I must say. Alot is going on with her and she just got to discover a few things today. Sad for her, she hasn't taken it lightly".

"What about her family?" The young man asked again. Mr Lee sighed heavily, "that's the sad part of it all. The people who ought to protect her are up to destroy her. Atleast that's my assumption, I am not sure if this is a fact for sure" Mr Lee responded with a serious expression on his face. The young man looked at Mr Lee, then looked at the helpless young lady who was silently crying. He walked over to her side and knelt beside her on one knee.

"Miss, come with me. I have an offer for you and I don't know if you will be interested or not. Ask for any amount of money and I will give you but you need to do something for me in return" the young man spoke in a deep and clear voice.

Rain suddenly lifted her head and looked at the young man who knelt beside her with teary eyes. The young man was a little stunned with what he saw. He never thought this girl could be this beautiful. Despite being stunned, the young man didn't make any facial expressions, his face was straight as if everything were normal. Rain on the other hand just shook her head subconsciously . All she wanted was to leave that home covered in a web of lies and conspiracy. She was enraged by all this and wanted her own pound of flesh. The young man stood up straight and looked at Mr Lee, "organize her discharge papers and everything that's needed, give me her medication and everything needed for her recovery. Organize a highly professional nurse for her as well. Let me know as soon as you gather all this" the young man then shifted his gaze to Rain, "stop acting pitiful now, stand on your feet. Mr Lee will help you through all this. Follow his instructions" the young man said then walked away without giving Rain the chance to retort. Rain quickly stood up and asked Mr Lee "doctor, can you please tell me, who exactly is that man? Is he a family member of the famous Johnson family in this city?" Rain asked curiously." Come, let me walk you to your room, I will tell you" the doctor responded as they slowly walked to Rains ward. All

that Rain needed right now was a scapegoat, something that could get her mind off all that had happened to her. Now she realized that if her mother and sister never bothered to tell her anything concerning the abortions, it simply means that they were responsible for all that happened. To make matters worse, on almost all the occasions, it's either tea or juice was served to me by mum or Natasha. Which means they worked together to kill my unborn children then put the blame entirely on me. I will definitely not show any of you mercy. Rain thought to herself.
