CHAPTER THIRTY SIX - TOGETHER 

WILLIAMS’ POV

As we held each other, the world around us melted away, leaving only the two of us, lost in our love. We stood there for what felt like an eternity, our hearts beating as one, our souls reconnected.

Finally, Monica pulled back, her eyes sparkling with tears. "We need to talk," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

I nodded, my throat constricting with emotion. "I know. But first, let's get out of here. Let's get away from all this drama and just be us."

Monica nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "Okay."

We drove across town, the tension between us palpable. We couldn't keep our hands off each other, our fingers intertwined as we stole glances at each other.

"I can't believe we're together again," Monica said, her voice filled with wonder.

"I know," I replied, my voice low and husky. "I feel like I've been living in a dream, and now I'm finally awake."

Monica's eyes locked onto mine, her gaze burning with desire. "I feel the same way," she whispered.
