WILLIAMS’ POV

She stared at me like she was confused by my decision. “Okay fine. I just wanted to make sure you were clear about this and you know what you want.” She voiced out. I could see the cracks on her forehead and the little sweats that broke out from her face.

“Now for a proper introduction, mum meet Emily and Emily, my mum” my voice calm and gentle tried bringing the situation back to a balance.

My mother smiled, a tear rolling down her cheek. "I am so happy for you, Williams," she said, her voice filled with love. “I, I really hope this works out for you” she continued as I pulled Emily to myself.

She stared at the both of us smiling, “Emily, I know your father to be very protective of his wards. He must really like Jason to let you slip through his fingers” my mum teased.

“Do not mind me, the truth is I am happy for the both of you” my mum cried out.

I could see her eyes closing up, a sign that she was just pretending. I could care less about what she felt or thought
