CHAPTER FIFTY NINE  - I WISH I MARRIED HER

WILLIAMS’ POV

“Williams,” Jason called out as he ran towards me. “I am so sorry, I got here as soon as I heard. Mrs Johnson…” he words fell short, like me he did not know what to say.

“Williams, you need to put yourself together, for the sake of your mother.” His comments felt like nails driving into my heart as I instantly burst out in tears. My heart had never felt so heavy and I hated myself for hating her.

“She could have been home,” I said as Jason hugged me. “Come here, that is okay, nobody knew this would happen” he advised as he continued to comfort me.

“I do not know, but she could have been by my bedside but, no!, stupid me. I went ahead to believe some stupid story about my own girlfriend” Jason seemed to understand just a glimpse of what I felt.

“Hey,” Jason called my driver as he looked at me. “Get them home, the both of them, I would take care of everything here. Just make sure they both eat and sleep” he ordered as he patted me by the back.
