Ch. 14: House Party

Sariel's point of view

I went to where Murphy was sitting. I saw him sitting on a folding chair with two women. Ugh, what a douchebag! Well, I’m not into that guy; I'm just irritated by his presence. His eyes lit up when he saw me, so he immediately stood up and walked towards me. He didn’t even feel embarrassed in front of the women he left behind.

"Hi, Sariel! I'm glad my uncle made you come here," he said with a wide grin on his lips. Of course he is. He snaked his hand around my small waist and guided me to where his friends were. He seated me at their table, where all his friends were guys who looked like they had taken five grams of milk. Just kidding.

However, his friends were good-looking. He’s also handsome, but he's not really my type. I have a future.

He introduced me to his friends, one by one. It didn’t take long before women started approaching the guys at our table.
