Chapter 53 "Camping"

While eating sandwiches inside the tent, Damiel commented, “Sir Lance, why don’t we look around the camping site? The caretaker of the site said that there is a tourist spot with wild plants and flowers. Since we are working in a flower shop, I think that will be a good experience.”

Damiel pointed the direction of the spot.

Excited, Jane stood up and said, “I wanted to check it.”

“Then, let’s all go,” Lance agreed.

Jane was the first one to walk and Lance was about to follow her. But he stopped when he saw Damiel sitting prettily on the ground.

“Hey! Why aren’t you coming?”

Damiel waved his hand in mid-air. “On the second thought Sir, I am a bit tired. And no one will look at our things inside the tent.”

“Huh?”

“You and Miss Jane can go together, Sir. I will walk on my own later.”

Lance narrowed his eyes. Then he realized that Damiel is giving him a chance to be alone with Jane.

The joyous boss couldn’t help but to express his gratitude by exclaiming, “You…! I like you!”
