Chapter 117 "Take it Off"

Lance sent Jane back to Eric’s house. They didn’t talk that much in the car.

One thing is sure, they were both thinking about the reporter Jane met a while ago.

Journalists aren’t allowed to publish an article without proper evidence, but they couldn’t help but feel anxious.

What if they find one?

“We’re here,” Lance said.

Snapped out, Jane looked at the driver and then looked around. She noticed just now that they had arrived outside Eric’s house.

“Ahh, right. Thanks, Sir,” Jane said. She unbuckled her seatbelt and stared at Lance. “I will give this back to you tomorrow.”

She pointed to the huge Soccer T-shirt she’s wearing. It is Lance’s clean T-Shirt which was in his car. It is his favorite sports shirt, and he bought it today because he promised to play Soccer with his friends tonight.

Jane was wet before, that’s why he gave it to her.

“That’s my favorite shirt. But you don’t need to give it to me right away.”
