Chapter 120 "Is This a Punishment?"

Byron met Lance Theodore outside Eric’s house after he sent the doctors away.

The secretary was speechless while looking at Lance.

“Where is Jane?” Lance asked in a stern voice.

Byron pointed to the house. “S-She’s inside the house, Sir. Miss Jane is resting inside her room.”

“Let me in. I don’t know Eric’s passcode.”

Eric would not like it if Byron let Lance in.

“I am sorry, Sir. I will ask Sir Eric first and…”

“Open the DAMN DOOR.”

Byron felt the shivers running down his spine. Looking at Lance and his fierce gray eyes, he remembered that Lance was once a gangster. If he ignores his words, he might die in an instant.

‘But my boss will kill me too!’ Byron cried inwardly.

“If you are worried that Eric will kill you, don’t be. Eugene invited me to come,” Lance said.

Byron saw a glimpse of hope. With a forced smile, he pressed the door passcode and opened the door for Lance.

“Welcome, Sir.”
