Not An Exception

Jessica's questions struck Cruz's chest like a hurricane and he quickly dropped his gaze and steepled his fingers, thinking of a perfect way to end this conversation.

'This confirms she didn't hear what we talked about.' He thought to himself before raising his head and fixing his gaze on Jessica once again as an idea struck him.

"Instead of worrying over me, why don't we talk about your sexuality? I mean, ever since you came here, I've never heard you talk with any man. The only person you talk with is always that bitchy…" He paused as he noticed the murderous side glare Jessica gave him and he quickly corrected himself.

"...I mean, Leah. Are you a lesbian?" He asked out of the blue, leaving Jessica shocked and dumbfounded with her eyes widened.

"I'm just wondering if Leah is not cheating on my friend with you." He added, intentionally provoking Jessica to talk about her sexuality.
