**Seventeen Years Ago**
Mr. Leo Adams married Mrs. Zoe Nelson, and she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl with sparkling brown eyes named Olima Adams. However, after Olima’s birth, Mrs. Zoe faced serious complications. Heartbroken that she could not give her husband more children, Zoe wept, but Leo assured her that his love was an unshakable mountain—it would never change. Two years later, Leo spoke to his wife about his intention to marry a second wife who could bear him more children, especially a son to inherit his properties and carry his name, rather than adopting a child since Olima was a girl. Zoe, emotional and afraid of another woman entering her home and stealing her husband’s heart, turned to her best friend, Gina Edwards, and asked her to accept Leo’s proposal. Zoe and Gina had been inseparable since high school, both growing up on the island where billionaire families resided. They remained close even after Zoe’s marriage. Unbeknownst to Zoe, Gina secretly admired Leo, so when Zoe proposed the marriage, Gina eagerly accepted and moved into their white mansion. But as soon as Gina arrived, she transformed like a sudden storm, quarreling with Zoe and demanding she vacate the master bedroom—since Zoe could no longer bear children, Gina insisted the room should belong to her and Leo. Leo was stunned by Gina’s cruel metamorphosis. He threatened divorce the next day after she called Zoe a witch for refusing to leave the room. Frightened, Gina softened, reverting to her former friendly self, and begged Zoe to plead on her behalf. Leo declared to Gina, “How dare you enter my home and turn against your best friend? I regret marrying you, Gina. Tomorrow, Olima will inherit everything I own. Even if she marries and changes her surname, she will always be my daughter. Prepare to leave—our marriage is over!” Gina, desperate, appealed to Zoe, who sighed, remembering she had brought Gina into this situation. Zoe persuaded Leo to relent, and Gina remained in the mansion, though in a separate room. From that day forward, Gina’s friendship froze into silent hatred. She believed Zoe and Leo had conspired to humiliate her, flaunting their love like a perfect, painful portrait. One day, Gina entered Zoe’s room and pleaded for a night with Leo, reminding her that bearing his children was her purpose. That evening, Zoe urged Leo to spend the night with Gina. Reluctantly, he agreed, and they shared a single night together. A month later, Gina’s jealousy festered as she saw that Leo’s love for Zoe burned brighter than ever. Instead of discarding Zoe, Leo avoided Gina, refusing even to eat her food—a deafening silence that pushed Gina into another quarrel. Enraged, Leo brought home divorce papers, but Gina refused, announcing, “I’m pregnant.” Unable to send her away while she carried his child, Leo allowed her to stay on one condition: she would live in the boys’ quarters, away from the main mansion, and never quarrel with Zoe again. Gina agreed, having no other choice. Eight months later, she gave birth to a baby girl, Mia Adams. But Leo never visited her again, abandoning hope for a son. Fourteen years passed, and Gina’s hatred grew like a poisonous vine. In all those years, Leo had touched her only once—a bitter reminder of his regret. Trapped by the scorn of her town and her parents’ disapproval, Gina knew she could not leave. Her heart, a frozen desert, plotted revenge. She hired a truck driver to crash into Leo and Zoe’s car as they traveled to their daughters’ graduation—Olima from college and Mia to senior class. After the deadly deed, Gina silenced the driver forever. Three months after the burial, Gina moved back into the main mansion, dismissed all the maids, and turned Olima into a servant, withdrawing her from school. When family members came to discuss Leo’s wealth and oil company, Gina, now a brutal ruler, had them arrested and falsely accused of the murders. They bailed themselves out and signed agreements never to return. Gina then summoned Leo’s lawyer to inquire about the will, recalling Leo’s vow that Olima would inherit everything. Though she chose not to kill Olima—leaving Mia a companion—Gina made Olima her permanent maid, ensuring no one would come to her rescue. The lawyer arrived and stated, “Mr. Leo’s will cannot be altered. It stipulates that the company be given to Olima Adams when she turns twenty-four.” Furious, Gina dismissed him, already scheming to claim everything for herself and her daughter alone.Mrs Juliet still wanted to bond with her grandkids and she begged Olima and Justin to stay and not leave with the twins.Justin smiled and told his mother, "Mom, we are not yet leaving the house."Mrs Juliet sighed in relief and she took Mike and Henry around the mansion, she didn't want the two boys to leave her side. She called her husband on a phone call and showed him photos of the lovely two boys and also video calling with him.Mr Emerson smiled and told her that he wasn't aware and that he would book a return flight back to the country to come see his grandkids too.Olima and Justin stayed back in Justin's family house. They bonded together as a family and ate dinners at the dining table with his mother.Mrs. Juliet finally asked Olima if she had ever gone to pay a visit to her family house again since she left.Olima shook her head and replied, "No ma."They were eating on the dining table and Mrs Juliet spoke about Olima's stepmother. She knew in her mind that if Mrs Juliet had another alternative, she wouldn't be in her office.Olima sighed and replied to Mrs Juliet, "I can understand your decision then ma. But Justin didn't want to."Mrs. Juliet frowned a little and met Olima's nervous gaze on her, She asked Olima, "Didn't you like my son? You made it look like it was only Justin who wanted you?."Olima's cheeks flame red in embarrassment and she replied to Mrs Juliet, "I did like Justin.. but.."Mrs Juliet stopped Olima from finishing her words, she asked Olima, "Tell me the truth. Are you now married? You look like a married woman and I am so scared of what I would tell Justin. I promised him that I would visit you and beg you on his behalf to come home Please come back home and forgive me in particular. I was just hard on you and I cannot explain why."Olima's face turned red as she almost sobbed, but she told Mrs Juliet, "I am not angry with you ma. I can never be angry

Unlike the last time that he looks unhealthy.****Jesse has not yet seen the lady of the house that Justin usually visits and even sleeps in her home every day.He only saw the maid of the house and he couldn't ask the maid any questions. One day, Justin's mother called him to return home and she thought to inform him that she had been searching for Olima and she hadn't seen Olima.Mrs. Juliet was not ha
Justin looked up at Olima's face and smiled. He replied, "Yes, I have. I owned the estate.""What?? But I didn't get to see your name there" Olima looked stunned, that she was running away from Justin's family, and she still ended up with him again."I know. I didn't put my name there, but your name is on the document and in my registry too. How about your dad's company? Don't you usually go there, or how do you cope staying here?."Olima smiled and replied, "I go there only once in a while. Mr. Luke gives me an update about the company and he's very trustworthy too. So I don't have to be there always or visit there.""Mm, I hope that you don't run away from this house before I should go to work and return. Or I shouldn't even leave at all, as I don't want you to run away from me again?" Justin asked, taking more steps to meet Olima, while their two sons kept staring at the two of them.Olima smiled and replied, "No, I won't. Where am I going to run away to?.""Do I know? Anywhere of
The following morning, Olima woke up feeling a small hand tapping on her shoulder as she and Justin were still sleeping on the bed "Mummy!" Mike screamed out as he looked shocked to see a man on his mummy's bed.Olima and Justin startled awake and woke up on the bed as they stare at the pair of blue eyes that was staring at them too."My goodness Mike! What are you doing here?" Olima asked in surprise and had totally forgotten that her two kids usually comes to her room every morning to wake her up early in the morning and she didn't usually lock up her room door too..Mike didn't responded, as he sat on the bed beside Olima on her left side and staring intently and suspiciously at Justin's face, as Mike hadn't seen Justin before, and seeing him for the first time, The little boy was wondering who Justin is?.The bedroom door pushed open again and Henry also walked into the bedroom as he wore similar white pyjamas like Mike's own.."Mom!" Henry exclaimed in shocked too as he walked i
Justin replied, "No, I am not... I am not angry with you. I am happy to see you and to be a father, and meet with you again. If there is anyone I should be angry with, Is my mother and not you."Olima frowned and Justin told her, "You shouldn't be feeling any pity for my mother, she doesn't want our happiness.""No, don't tell me that. She's your mom, she carried you for nine months and raised you all by herself. So you shouldn't be mad at her, She would have her reason, I don't know..""Hmm, You are kind" Justin smiled and walked up to meet Olima. He pulled her into a hug again to his chest as she was barely reaching his shoulder height. He said, "I know that is because you're a mother now that's why you're advising me not to be angry with my mother, but is alright, I won't, so long she doesn't come in between us again."Olima frowned a little knowing that Justin's mother didn't truly like her.Justin kissed her cheeks and said, "I do not hate my mom. I am just angry about everything.
