66. Revenge or moving on?

Kevin looked at her with seriousness in his eyes.

"You got quite drunk last night, and..." he began.

Sara interrupted, "I know," her voice softening. She lowered her head and confessed, "I didn't want to go to Dixon Villa."

"I didn't think it was right to take you to a hotel at that time," Kevin admitted.

"By now, Uncle and Aunt must have heard about what happened at last night's party. I'm not sure how I'll face them."

He stared at her hands, clenched tightly in her lap.

"I usually stay in hotel. You can stay here as long as you need," Kevin offered.

Sara looked at him in shock, processing his words.

Kevin gently held her palm, which lay on her lap and looked at her intently. "What do you want? Revenge or moving on?" he asked, his tone serious.

"I'll support you either way." He added.

Sara tightly closed her eyes. "I can't understand what you're saying, Kevin."
