331. Just want you all to myself

Jia stepped out of the car, leaning back against it as she lit up a cigarette. Taking a deep drag, she lingered there, as if reluctant to head to her apartment. Ever since that night with Jacob, going home carried a weight of memories she'd rather forget. She couldn't shake off the feeling every time she approached her place.

Suddenly, her eyes caught the sight of the man, staring at her intensely. In response, Jia avoided eye contact as he approached. She attempted to remain composed.

"Why are you here?" she asked, a hint of irritation in her tone.

"You started smoking," Jacob remarked.

"It's none of your business."

"You're too young. Don't start such habits."

"It's my life. Don't teach me," she retorted, her words laced with rudeness. Jacob remained unfazed. Before arriving, he already predicted her reaction upon seeing him after a month.

He moved in, his hand gently landing on her cheek, "How you been?"

She jerked away, irritated, "Don't touch me. Don't start with this again. Your
