260. No! Lies, it's all lies!

In a dimly lit apartment, Noah lounged on the couch, puffing on a cigarette while fixated on the news broadcast.

The surgeons responsible for Yohan Dixon's transplant appeared in a press conference. The initial news was promising – the liver transplant had been successful. However, the room fell silent as the tone shifted.

"The transplanted liver is showing signs of primary non-function," the main surgeon announced solemnly. "This necessitates an urgent need for another transplant. Mr Dixon remains unconscious, and his condition is grave."

Noah's face contorted slightly at the news, a mix of anxiety and a touch of regret flashing across his eyes. He stubbed out his cigarette and poured some wine into a glass for him.
