"Theo" her voice cracked as she felt her nose tingle with the onslaught of conflicting emotions.

When Theo saw her standing just in the threshold between the dining area and the living area, his anger, tiredness and irritation, everything evaporated. The only thing he felt at that moment is being content. As if his entire world is standing right in front of him.

Her eyes looked moist, her lips were parted. Her gaze dancing over his features, as if she is thirsty for him. He also noticed that she is leaning forward a little, trying to make the pain in her stomach feel bearable.

He erased the distance between them in a few long purposeful strides and hugged her tightly, making sure not to hurt her stomach. He is taking in all of her body weight to ease her pain.
