Betrayed

Ella gasped and covered her mouth with shock.

"So all the while when I was being given mind numbing work which used to drain the energy out of me, it was my dear husband who did it to avoid me?" she spoke with bitterness. The love she held for her husband is slowly transforming into anger.

Heather looked at her open palms and nodded her head. When Vincent was avoiding his wife, she used to feel so happy that he was prioritising her over his wife. So she never contradicted him.
