Liam quickly got ready. He dressed in black trousers and a white shirt before he left his bedroom. As he walked down the hallway and reached Karen's room door, he paused briefly. Turning towards the door he approached it and knocked.

Karen's door swung open before Liam had even finished knocking, revealing her in a black pencil skirt that hugged her curves, and crisp blue shirt. Her hair was tied back in a ponytail, she looked stunning as usual. Her eyes widened slightly at the sight of him, a glint of surprise quickly replaced by a guardedness that tightened her jaw.
