When Mr. Clark entered the living room with Mia following behind him, Liam and James who was casually seated on the sofa were relieved to see him finally come down the stairs. They had been waiting for over thirty minutes for him.

Mr. Clark flashed a gentle smile when he saw Liam and James seated in his living room, "Liam Danvers, glad you could make it." He said happily. He deliberately delayed coming out to meet Liam, because he wanted to see Liam's reaction.

Liam briefly glanced at his wristwatch before looking at Mr . Clark and Mia. "Yeah, it's good to be here… I've been looking forward to this." He said happily. But he didn't mean those words, he didn't like being at Mr . Clark's house at all. And the only reason he was there was so that he could see what Mr Clark was up to.
