Chapter 189

At a warehouse somewhere on the other side of the city, Mr Clark stood upstairs, as he looked down on more than two hundred men working. The men were loading stuff into trucks.

Mr Clark took out a cigarette, lit it and started smoking.

The sound Mia's high heels made as they hit the floor, had Mr Clark crane his neck to see her approaching him with a file in her hands. She was wearing a black short skit and a blue top.

As she came within talking distance, Mr Clark darted his gaze off her and looked down on the men who were busy loading up the trucks.

"Afternoon boss." Mia greeted, looking at her boss with a casual facial expression.

Mr Clark took another drag of his cigarette before he spoke. "Have you sent the contract to Liam Danvers?" He asked, turning around and gazing at her.

Mia nodded. "Yes I have, but he hasn't given me feedback yet." She replied humbly. That was one of her worries. If Liam was not going to sign the collaboration contract, then her boss's plan was not going to
