WAKE UP!

"Where are you now?" I asked Emily.

"Just leaving my house right now," she replied.

"I'll meet you in the cafe' opposite FLETCHER CONGLOMERATES in a few minutes," I said to her before hanging up.

Everyone was staring at me and my hands were shaking. I could guess what Emily must have seen, as well as the culprit, but I needed to meet with her to be sure she wasn't blowing anything out of proportion because I knew she could be dramatic at times.

I stared at the mess Olsen had made and quietly began to clean up the floor again. I threw the leftover coffee and all the food I had painstakingly bought inside the trash. Afterward, I tried to wipe my dress clean but the stains only got worse.

How I looked at this point was the least of my problems, so I walked over to Olsen's table and said, "I am very sorry that I delayed your lunch and let you down."

He looked up at me and seemed somewhat surprised by my apology. After speaking to him, I picked up my bag and walked out of the office.
