Chapter 4 – Another No

“a Victoria Secret angel in Victoria Secret store in Manhattan.” Rose chuckled when we met Jean in front of the VS store. Jean hugged us and then we walked in the VS store.

People started recognizing Jean and they asked her to take photos together. She’s really famous and people literally queueing. Me and Rose bought a couple sports bra at VS and after that we went to Forever 21 too.

“So how’s work Rose?” Jean asked.

“Piling up.” Rose answered as she looked at the mirror to see herself in black dress that she’s currently trying on.

“How about you, Sophia? You’re working with your dad right?” Jean asked and I turned to her.

“Yeah, I’m currently working with my dad.”

“I heard you’re going to travel around Europe.”

“Blake’s promised me that,” Jean said as she looked at a piece of purple backless dress.

“Lucky you.”

“Thank God about that, Rose. I had a tough life before this.” Jean chuckled.

“What do you think?” Rose asked us both about her black dress and I kinda hate it.

“Too long.” Jean commented.

“It doesn’t scream you. You need a backless dress or dress that has cut outs.” I said and she nodded.

“Try this.” Jean shoved her a white dress with cut outs on the waist. She entered the fitting room again.

“I heart Aaron was hitting on you yesterday.” Jean stated.

“How can you both know?”

“Did you see his lusty eyes?” Jean asked.

“That’s disgusting.”

“Trust me that’s the Samuel blood for you.” She said as she looked at the sunglasses section.

“What am I suppose to do?”

“What do you mean by that?” She asked as she tired one on.

“I turned him down.”

“Well- wait! What? You turned him down?” She looked at me in horror. 

“What’s with you and Rose? You both reacted the same.”

“Blake told me that Aaron is three times more crazy than him. Aaron never takes no for an answer especially from girls.” She said and I sighed.

“I’m in trouble now, aren’t I?”

“1000% yess and he’s going to get you, Sophia. He’s going to come to Blake’s birthday party and I inveited you and you said you’ll come. I mean.. You have to face him right?” She asked and I sighed. Why did I mess up with one of the seven bastards in America?

“Isn’t it you husband’s birthday? I think I-“

“Blake can’t say no to me, Sophia. I tamed that man.” She said.

“How do I look?” Rose came out and turned her body around for us to see.

“Buy it! Go find a guy at Blake’s.” Jean said evily and I chuckled.

“Good idea.”

“Wanna eat? I’m starving.” I said bluntly and she both agreed.

“Let me change and pay for this first.” Rose said as she walked inside the fitting room again.

“How is it being a married woman?” I asked Jean as we walked out from the store and waited for Rose outside.

“Really good, Soph. I can’t believe how happy I am being married. I’m still young but Blake really makes me happy. He’s really sweet.” Jean smiled.

“I’m jealous.”

“You’ll find someone, Sophia. Oh! I’ll introduce you to my friend later on at Blake’s party.” She squealed and held my hand excited.

“Is he a good person?”

“He’s my bestfriend, Sophia. His name is Josh Curt. He’s the owner of Curton Airlines.”

“Come on, let’s go!” Rose said as she took out her phone from her bag. We walked around the mall to find a place to eat.

“Hello girls.” We all stopped and turned our heads to the one and only Aaron Samuel. I saw a blondie cling to him like a koala.

“Hey Aaron.” Rose greeted.

“Hey A.” Jean greeted too and I just stayed silent looking at him.

“You’re not going to say hi to me?” Aaron asked me and he smirked.

“Do we know each other?” I raised my eyebrows , I saw Jean and Rose looked at me in horror.

“You wounded me, Sophia. We met in a really romantic and dramatic way.” His eyes looking straight to me, giving me his boyish smile that can make girls go weak.

I admitted that he’s handsome, I agree to that statement but I don’t want to have a relationship to a man like him. They will control me and play me, in the end of the day they will throw me like a trash. I’ve meet so many guys like him in college and I don’t want to make a stupid decision again.

“Baby, let’s go that way.” The blonde girl whines and Aaron looked at her disgusted.

“Samantha, go away before I fired your dad.” Aaron said in a really cold tone.

“It’s Sandy, Aaron, but you pro=”

“We’re done for the day, now go.” He said woth a really cold tone. After that he smirked at me. I looked at him in disgust. The blondie girl stomped her feet completely piss and walked away.

“So where were we?”

“We’re going to eat.” Jean said.

“Great, let’s go.” Aaron said and I looked at Rose in horror. I don’t want him to join us. Rose looked at me with her I-can’t-help-you look.

“You can’t join us.” I said to Aaron and he turned to me. He smirked and walked closer to me. He sneaked his arm around my waist and my eyes widen. I looked away and saw Rose and Jean were leaving me.

“What do you say? I didn’t hear you, beautiful.” He whispered to my ear causing me to shiver.

“You can’t join us.” I turned to him. I looked at his green orbs and pushed him away from me. I walked away first to catch up with Rose and Jean.

“Ah.. No again?” He asked and I stopped walking.

“It’s always a no for you, Aaron!” I turned and smiled sweetly to him, he walked towards me.

“Playing hard to get, beautiful?” Aaron whispered to my ear again.

“Goodluck with that.” I said as I pushed him away again. I ran away to catch up with Jean and Rose.

I was so disgusted by the fact that he just bed someone and he hit on me. Gosh, I hate a man like that. Please get that man away from me, God. I don’t want him to get near me. I despise him damn much!
