Chapter 28 – Blake and Jean

Chaos.

Everything was happening in slow-motion. When I saw William shot Jean, I got burn instantly. I shot him and he shot me. It happened to fast and his guards started to appear.

Ken’s men and Sebastian’s men started to get inside backing me up. William looked at me with hate and I can’t help but to kill him. I asked Sebastian through the earpiece to shoot him.

“That’s for Jean,  you bastard!” I bursted angrily and Sebastian’s man shot him straight to his head. He’s dead instantly. I ran to Jean and went panic.

I never felt this feeling before, I was so afraid to lose her.

“Jean! Jean..” I sat beside her and held her hand. Jean was awake but she didn’t answer me. Her breathing wasn’t that stable.

“No.. No.. Jean! Baby, stay with me.. No.. No!!!” Her eyes closed and I quickly picker her up. I quickly ran outside and found our car.

“Blake, we- Jean!” Alexis was more than shock to see Jean was unconscious. She opened the door and I got inside.

“Go to the nearest hospital!” I bursted to the driver and he nodded. I opened the window and looked at Sebastian, Ken and Alexis.

“We’ll see you there, go!” Ken said and I  nodded. The driver quickly drove out from that area. I held Jean’s hand in panic completely afraid that she won’t wake up again.

I felt tears come out from my eyes and I looked at the wound. It’s still bleeding crazily.

“Jean, please..” I begged and kissed the back of her hand.

As soon as we arrived, the driver parked the car in front of the emergency door. I opened the door and quickly got out carrying Jean out.

“Someone please help!” I bursted out and the nurse and doctors quickly ran to me. They put Jean on the hospital bed.

“She was shot.” I told them and they checked on her real quick and discover the wound.

“We’re going to do an operation for this.” One od the doctors said and I nodded. The nurse forced me to let go my hand from hers and it was hard.

“Sir, please stay out.” One of the nurse held me back from going to the operation room. I looked at her through the glass window.

Suddenly Ken, Sebastian and Alexis came in time when I wanted to burst the door. Ken held me body tightly preventing me to do crazy things to get in there.

“She’ll be okay!” Ken said trying to hold me tighter.

“Blake! You need to get your mind straight!” Sebastian bursted and I turned to him.

“He shot her! He shot HER!”

“He’s dead now, he got what he deserves!” Ken said and I sighed. I pushed Ken away and sat on the long chair. I ran my hands through my hair completely frustrated.

“Blake, she’ll be okay. I know she will, she’s a strong girl.” Alexis sat beside me and patted my shoulder. I nodded weakly.

We waited for about 1 hour or so when suddenly the doctor came out from the operation room.

“Sir, are you one of the fam-“

“I’m her fiancée.”

“She’s fine sir. We took the bullet out from her body and it was quite deep. I presume it was shot from a short distance and we found a lot of bruises from her body. She might lose her consciousness fast because of the pain from the shot and the fact that her blood wasn’t running through out her body well because of the bruises. Everything is stable now but she really need a lot of rest to heal everything. She’ll wake up in a few hours.” The doctor said and I was more than relieve.

“Thankyou.”

“You’re welcome, sir.” Suddenly I saw Jean’s body laying so weak on the hospital bed. She was being moved by a few nurses.

“She’s moving to 417 room. Can you proceed to fill her data first, sir?” I turned to my friends and they  nodded.

“We’ll go there first, don’t worry.” Alexis said and I followed the doctor first. I filled a couple of data and I filled it quickly so I can see and hold Jean again.

I ran to the 417 room because I was so anxious to see her condition. I got inside and sat down on the chair beside her hospital bed. I held her hand tightly and kissed the bad of her hand.

I looked at her bruises and it was crazy that William gave this bruises. If he’s still alive, I’m going to kill him with my bare hands. I looked at the bullet wound and can’t help but cursed myself for not being able to protect her. I’m so crazy right now.

I blamed myself a lot.

“We need to process William’s body and everything in that area.” Sebastian said.

“I’ll send my men to do that.”

“Just use mine first, it will take a lot of time.” Ken suggested and I can’t thank him enough. I owe them a lot.

“Thanks.” I turned to them and found Alexis crying. I looked at Sebastian and eyed him to Alexis. He turned to her and pulled her into a hug.

“It’s not your fault.” Sebastian said patting her back and I turned my head to Jean. Please wake up soon, I need to see that beautiful gree eyes again.

Please.. I miss you..
