Chapter Forty Nine

Nine: Toss

MamXala had her bags packed. She was leaving. Nothing was left for her here. She had to go. It was inevitable. She had to leave. She couldn't stay where she was not needed anymore.

Just as she was about to go to the door she saw her husband. He looked at the bags on both her hands. "Where are you going?" He asked shocking her. Why was he asking this? He knew where she was going. And why. She didn't need to stand here and explain herself to him. It would be too stupid to. Instead she tried to walk through the door but just got blocked by the one she had called husband for years now. He repeated his question. "Where are you going?" This frustrated MamXala.

"I am going where I belong! The task I had been sent out to achieve here now is done. I must leave. There is nothing left here for me now." It broke her heart to have to say these things but what else could she do? This was the truth.

"You don't have to go. Especially not like this."
